It's a bug. it says it is install Windows 10, but it isn't (if you unselected) - check WindowsUpdate.log to double check. Delete the SoftwareDistribution folder if you like, too.
I think the problem here is the fact that the white levels are so off between the two monitors. Just hitting 5500k as someone else suggested on the new monitor is a royal pain. Back off the blue, green shoots WAY up. Back off green, blue shoots WAY up and repeat.
I'm thinking of just returning...
Hi all,
I've recently bought a second 2312 and it's an A00 rev when my first was an A05 rev, and color wise the A00 looked awful. Now, I just got done letting Dispcalgui calibrate it. Here's my result.
Most everything looks ALRIGHT but not that special. Why are my blacks and grays so off? My...
I figured I'd pop in here:
I have two of these: an A05 made summer 2012, and an A00 made december 2012 (that's right kids, they're shipping the crappy A00s again!) And they have serious yellow tint issues. Still. Are they just making room for a 2313 model?
Lesson learned: buy all monitors at...
Having played this at PAX, it's sad to hear they fixed nothing...because at PAX, I had already decided the game was awful - as noted, disguises were worthless. I might as well have been wearing 47's birthday suit with "I'M A HITMAN" tattooed on his chest.
Guess you don't use it, do you? I use Win8 on my macbook as well as OSX. OSX is great for when I'm just browsing and doing mail, watching netflix and such. I get good battery life.
Unstable? No crashes in the month I've had it. It just works. Games generally are not as good on OSX, but I...
I have the Direct CU2 670 and love it - insanely quiet. Also, having physx for stuff like Borderlands is awesome. If you plan to play games like Borderlands or Batman, go with nvidia.
Wanna back that up? A review of the powercolor shows it holding even with the reference 680, not beating...
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2012/07/23/hardware-accelerating-everything-windows-8-graphics.aspx
The metro bullshit is accelerated, FULLY. So if you run it on a device with a battery, kiss your long battery life GOODBYE. Because you'll get to watch your GPU go into full power mode...
This.
Batman = better on 360, for example. Why? I love my couch. I have my PC for multiplayer gaming, really. And RPGs. Used to use it with MMOs, but after TOR, I'm finished with MMOs.
Point is, the PC is used for some gaming, but also gets used for side projects - encoding video, photography...
Unwilling to move my PC to the TV (space issues, since I will still want a desk) and I don't want something with a stationary image on my plasma :)
I've considered running a long HDMI cable along the base boards, but never got around to it.
This is a simple "does this game offer anything on PC...
Can anyone give a quick comparison of their thoughts on Max Payne 3 on the 360? I can easily run it on my PC, but might prefer it on the XBox, as long as the game works well on the controller, and the framerate is decent (compared to say, Fable 2, where I felt the framerate never got above 20...
I was REALLY hoping to be the first person to say "John Romero is going to make you his bitch" - but I see I'm too late. Who gives a shit about this guy?
But it requires a connection. That's my complaint. If I wanted a game requiring a connection, I'd play a multiplayer game. I don't buy Ubisoft games for their DRM. I view the online component of D3 just as a well disguised DRM system.
A played TONS on America's Army back in the day, and got VERY used to sitting there watching the round finish after I died. Which meant it was time to get a drink and snacks. Or use the head.
S&D is the only mode I liked, when teams were balanced. It was all too often 4v3 or something, with two destroy points. I was usually the last person standing and won a fair amount of time, but it was still too annoying given MW3's mechanics.
Frankly, MW3 to me was too much. Spawn, kill someone. Maybe two people. Someone spawns behind you. DIE.
Respawn, HELICOPTER YOU DIE.
Respawn, kill a few people, nade lands next to you. DIE.
The game was really just a complete....clusterfuck. I ran screaming from it back to BF3.

I installed the full ones, and wood still looks pretty unimpressive, for example. I'll post a screenshot tonight with a total list of mods. I used nexus mod manager, when installed the HD mods, I did an upgrade install.
The improved NPC...
I had a P8Z77-v Pro, and dumped it because my mouse (Mionix Naos 5000) was troublesome on it, and the Wifi AP software was awful (Raja seems to be saying it's gotten better, no clue here.) On the USB front, even with a functional USB mouse, there was a 10-15 second delay in Windows before the...
Same issue with my Mionix Naos 5000. You're not alone, the board seems to be plagued with USB issues, too bad no reviews mentioned this.
FWIW, if you care to, the MSI GD65 fixed my issues (while being $50 cheaper), and I was within my return policy from Frys. Either way, hope you find a solution.
No, USB isn't so simple, as this board is proving. If the mouse lights up (gets powered) on boot, it works fine. Fine in Windows, fine in Linux, fine in UEFI. It isn't a driver issue, given this is external to windows. As I said earlier, if I enter UEFI and the mouse isn't working, unplug it...
Hi Raja,
This has nothing to do with the hub. I have the mouse plugged DIRECTLY into the motherboard. Plugging the mouse into the USB ports, and the behavior is as so: if the mouse lights up when the system is POSTing, then it'll work in Windows too. If the mouse DOES NOT light up during POST...
The DH14 is out, since it will have clearance issues and weighs too much, IMO. I don't like large heatsinks hanging from the PCB given I move my PC around some. I'd rather have that metal anchored to the case, which the H100 and H80 do :)
Will the 80 be an improvement over the Megahlems in any...
