Well, not that it's helpful now, but your specs are similar to mine (and thousands of others) and the game runs fine - so you have something going on with your machine, depending on what the error you were getting.

It's pretty straight forward. Basically the link is just receiving the screen and input/output of the pc it's connecting to. Just install kodi on that pc then add it as an app (or game can't remember) to steam. After the link connects, you run the app/game named kodi. Works surprisingly well.

I generally like the game, but that wingsuit mission is the only one so far I've noped out of. Half the time the wingsuit doesn't even open, the other half I'm hitting rocks like a gen Xer on a bender. No thanks.

I've been playing on hard with no tags or the detection indicator, makes the game better imo, you have to go a little slower

Yep still play every day :) just finished getting every classified set so I can try them all, and I get to wear a piece of cheese in my shoulder :p There's so much content it's hard to get bored. If you hop on discord there's always pugs going on too.

Franchise peaked at BC2. This is coming from some who put a hundred hours into the 1942 demo.

It's too bad people can't transfer you credits. I'd be happy to give you some, it makes leveling up much easier. If you can do co op, people can give you gear to sell, so you can keep upgrading your gear.
