780i is essentially the same as a 680i, my guess is OCing capabilities are approximately the same.

I paid $209 w/o a mobo, I guess they gave you a $4 discount. Ordered Saturday and shipped out today. Now I just need the new BIOS for my 680i.

Personally I don't think it is worth it for me. I'll get upgrade the e8400 for my 680i, and the next time I upgrade I'll probably be switching to a new MB. I don't really see a need for a quadcore yet.

Well my 680i has decided to stop working with my 6400 Ballistix Tracers completely with the C1 error. Put in some Patriot 6400 and it will boot just fine. So I'm not sure if the memory controller is just acting flaky or if it has eaten up my ram as others have complained. Being the paranoid...

It runs great for me, I'm running a single 8800GTX @ 1920 x 1200 and settings maxed out, it has no issues for me. Maybe something isn't working for people with SLI? Maybe you could try disabling that and seeing if it runs better using 1 video card for now. I am enjoying the game, great...

This is my first build as well, but I'm not a kid with too much money. I figured it would be good for true SLI performance and also I can upgrade to QC when I am ready and the prices are much more reasonable.

I see, I have my X-Fi installed and didn't notice anything, I did read about wireless NIC issues before. I do see some people having issues with P25 as well....... I think I'll wait since P24 works fine for me right now.

I am very happy with my X-FI, never even heard of this auzentech, and there are no issues with the P24 bios.

Just built a rig a month ago with the 680i after doing all the research on these boards. This was the first computer I've ever built and it has all gone very smooth, flashed to the P24 BIOS before loading windows and did not install the nTune or NAM programs that seem to cause issues for...

The only thing you need to be careful when installing is making sure the plastic mounts don't get bent.

Actually if you read the complaints, most of the posts are by the same people. Check out newegg reviews, most people seem to be happy with the board. If you are happy with a board you don't go complain about it, you sit back and enjoy. I'm still debating to get the evga board or the Abit...

Please go back to the website, it has the big Nvidia SLI ready logo on the right on the main page. But yes, of course it is the 680i chipset, so it is true x16 SLI.

Price shows $371 now too. I guess they figured they could gouge more since they sold out of everything. Early reports indicate a pretty good OC potential. Seen 500 FSB and 495 FSB reports. Maybe I should have bit, but would like to see some more reviews on it first before making the plunge.
