Update, I think I may have already replaced the PS, but I'm not at home so I can tell you the exact model, but it's either equal to or above the same wattage of old PS.

Hey folks,
I have my current system and I'm in need of an upgrade. I would like to keep as much of the equipment as possible. The only piece that has to change is my HD since it died. Any recommendations on how I can max out my existing system?

2. 30" monitor best guess
3. Expensive really means price isn't an issue. Probably should have worded that better in my original post

Hey folks,
I have a project that I need advice on. My boss wants an ultra high end pc for the summer. Here are the requirements in order of importance

I just started a new position at a great company. For the past few years I've just been working with basic desktop support in a non-networked environment. Now I've just seen the other side of the fence and I'm at a place where there are cisco routers and switches, fiber optics, blade servers...

It's been a while since I've been actively involved in searching for employement. I submitted my resume on the Big Three, Monster, HotJobs, and Career Builder, and so far I've had 5 staffing agencies contact me within a period of 3 days. What are your opinions working with staffing agencies? Do...
Hello,
I'm interested in changing my career from Help Desk Support to Web Development. What advice would you give someone who is interested in doing so? I don't have a college degree so would I need to become certified, will I have to create a portofilio of work that I've done? I've worked on...
Here is what the Shift Form looks like for more clarification.
This is the part I'm having the problem with. Associating the Person with the shifts that they selected. The AM and PM shifts won't change but the show dates will every year.
I meant to write "Normalize the database to reflect the form."
I set up the table so that the shift table so that if they wanted to change from AM to PM to something else they can edit that data. It is possible for 1 person to set up for both the AM and PM shift.
I'm open to do that, but...
I have a form that I am building and I've run into this problem. There is a section on the form that checks if a person wants to sign up for a AM shift or PM shift for a Show. What I need to know is how do I normalize the form to reflect that in the database? Here is what the user would see on...
Hello,
I'm working on a project and I'm trying to know if you can add the values of two cells in a table and have the result of that equation entered in a third cell in the same table.
Example:
Cell1: 5
Cell2: 7
Cell3: (Cell1)+(Cell2)
Most major banks give you the ability to pay your bills (the client) for free using their bill pay. The client would receive a check in about a week and there wouldn't be any fees on either side since most bill pay features are free (at least with Bank of America).

Looks interesting. I wonder if Google has plans to support the .NET framework. They have set aside $10 million to reward developers who develop worthy projects for the mobile OS.

I am working on this project and I have run into a small problem. My website is being hosted on a shared hosting environment. Currently I am using a custom membership provider. I would like to know if I create a directory in my hosted environment can that directory be it's own separate...
I'm curious if there is an easy way to export an Excel spreadsheet into an SQL database? I have a project that I'm doing with a client of mine and it would be alot easier if I can organize and sort through this information.
Will do, but does everything look okay with the transaction? I know I have alot of "newbie" comments but it's the only way I'm going to learn what's happening later on.
Checking my work here.
I've created a stored procedure for my multiple insert query. I've wrapped it a transaction to ensure that if anything goes wrong no tables will be updated. I'm looking for any advice if I need to make changes for the better.

I've removed the all the GO statements

I'm getting a ' Must declare the scalar variable for "@new_Key" ' error message when I run my SQL script. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Master mikeblas,
This is exactly what I'm trying to do, but I'll but doing via and ASP.NET web form. My plan is to make this process a stored procedure, but first I wanted to get the basics down first.
Do you mean manually, or programitically?
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how in MS SQL 2005 Express one is able to insert data into multiple tables at once. Here are my tables:
Contact
----------------------
ContactID, int, not null
FirstName, nvarchar(50), not null
LastName, nvarchar(50), not null
AddressID, int, not null...
I would lose the drop shadow behind the CRU Enterprises. It doesn't show well against the dark blue background. Also I would do some research on the use of color. I know green and blue are big in the web 2.0 genre. But you have the wrong shades of blue matching against the green.
Here use this...
You can download Visual Web Developer Express 2005 Edition which comes with a lightweight built in web server called "Cassini". The server gets initialized only when you Debug or View your site. It's pretty useful if you can't set up IIS on your machine.
Cassini does not replace IIS though...
Sounds like you need to build a project that teaches you along the way. I'm not sure how much you know C# or Visual Basic. Sitepoint's ASP.NET 2.0 book is a decent read. I've purchased numerous ASP.NET 2.0 books from Microsoft, Wrox, Apress, and Sitepoint, and so far I enjoy the writing style of...
Currently I've been trying to learn C#. In this process I've purchased about half a dozen books, and watched numerous video's and I've yet to still wrap my mind around C#. So by chance I stumbled upon Ruby and it's seems simple enough for me to grasp the concept right away. Hopefully after...
