It's almost like they got the volumetric settings turned way down or off completely in those screenshots. There's hardly any fog and it looks a little boring because of it. Makes it seem dated a bit.
slightly off topic but, with all these newer samurai/ninja type games getting made, it's...
Hey yo, I just came across this vid showing the same area in that screenshot you posted. It looks much better in the vid that than that ss. Has a lot more atmosphere going on. Plus that's gotta be the PS4 version I'd assume, so it should look a little better in true 4k on PC.
Ironically it's...
The only mod I've ever run was Grim Internals and I don't even miss it. I just use the texture mod and call it good anymore. I hardly use my stash box as is now, really the only thing I store are components, crafting materials, rings/amulets/medals (and really not even that many) a few...
After 8 years I'm finally about to cross the threshold of 1000hrs. I got bit by the GD bug again (is that Grim Dawn or God Damn? :p) and decided to roll another char, this time a Warlord maining Blitz, Vire's Might, Incorporeal Winds, and Cadence, with some heavy physical/trauma based...
Looks good to me, good enough anyway from what little I've seen of it. There's also coop as well, which could be cool if you got a dedicated partner to play with.
Believe it or not but I'm actually more excited for this than HFW.
The environments in this game look very nice. It's gonna look a lot better in motion at 4k. Plus it should run great as well. Then there's always the possibility of texture mods and what not.
btw, is this supposed to have hdr support?
I watched a bunch of those RDR versus videos back when i was playing it, and yeah it's still does things mostly better than all. The one thing that stands out to me is the rain drop effects on water surfaces looks a little dated, and I'd say GoT does it a bit better imo.
curious about the performance, for those that have played. One thing I do remember people saying was the performance in the earlier builds was not that great. Is 4k60 posssible with a 6900xt/5800x?
So I d/l the GrimTex 4x v6.0 last night and I'm thinking goddamn almost 12gigs. Then I unpack it and say GODDAMN! 25gigs  It's crazy cause even after 2 xpacs GD is still only like 10gigs. But I'm gonna run my Phantasmal Blades Reaper a bit more using the Demonslayers armor set, very fun...
The Frozen Wilds is literally bow-souls on ultra hard (reference to Remnant being described as gun-souls :p). You're gonna be a dodge-roll tactician by the time you finish. Those Fire/Frostclaws and Scorchers are no joke. Also theres a Rockbreaker boss in there as well that will put you to...
I started to play The Frozen Wilds exp because I didn't play it last winter when I started my new game++ run. Plus I need something to christen in my new ultrawide monitor, so this will do :). Very nice monitor btw (LG 34GN850B). All these shots are from last winter though, I was just...
Everything looks great on an oled! Since your in the GD thread though, I'd recommend GD :). It still holds up pretty well, I just played through it again last summer. Probably the most enjoyable single player arpg ever made. When I play GD it feels like I'm playing a game (if that makes any...
^Archbishop is the main boss for that area, I def remember him, a real pita. That miniboss just prior to him coulda damn near been a regular boss itself. He was mopping the floor with me until I cheesed him lol.
I'd say my most dreadful enemy in the game were those big ass jesters. Every...
^yeah, pretty tough area. I cheesed the hell outta that mini-boss first time through by climbing up that ladder to the side and throwing bombs down onto him. I'm not ashamed to admit it :p
^ Pretty much the only drawback to the Trident is its Fable Art imo. I never use as well. It is pretty much useless, plus I like to keep the 5 slots fully charged for that extra damage.
Yep. Once I got it I used it exclusively. One of the very few weapons to have crit on it. Combine that with the assassin's amulet (more crit), and the one that adds damage based on how much fable you have, and the enemy specific damage amulets, plus the crit grindstone and you could get some...
I don't own any Ubisoft, EA, or Activision games. I've been free of 'the big 3' for well over a decade, and I got rid of all my physical copy games a while back. My memory is starting to go but I think the last ubi game I bought was the original Farcry (which is the only Farcry game I've ever...
Have you tried setting the minimum clock in Adrenaline control panel? I'd try setting it to ~2000 something Mhz. Boost for this card seems to be like ~2500Mhz.? Maybe try going 2400Mhz min and 2500 max.
I've bought hundreds and hundred and hundreds of items on Ebay since 2007. I've been legitimately scammed one time as far as I can recall. I bought a video card about ten years ago that turned out to have a burnt pcb. I made a post about it here in the video cards section. You will ALWAYS get...
I did include the original listing in the original post, the edit was to make a slight adjustment to the structure and I removed a sentence. so yeah, no...
We're talking about an Ebay store here with 55,000+ feedback at 99% positive. A store that specializes digital video and camera equipment and computer hardware, that has been operating since 1985 and on Ebay since 2000. I'm sorry but this 'really good advice' is just plain dumb. I don't know...
...off Ebay:D
Managed to land an LG 34GN850B with best offer of $335 and free shipping for a total of $355 out the door. pretty Crazy considering these are still going for $600 right now on Amazon, and was shocked to learn these were around $1000 at launch a few years back. It's open box, but...
Damn I had no idea this was even out there. I'll most likely give a d/l when the new exp drops. Had I known I woulda ran it last summer when I was leveling my Reaper.
I'm at right around the year and a half mark for my TKL (non pro version) and it is still feels brand new. Very springy responsive keys, which I like, and I run mine pretty hard playing ut2004 almost daily. This keyboard was a replacement for a ROG Claymore which I grew to hate, very terrible...
^I did the same. I had no idea there was anymore to it first time through. It seemed like the right choice to make though from a role-playing perspective.
well there are side quests, but they're mainly for increasing your humanity level. For instance there's one to help find a grieving mothers baby, or retrieve a bottle of booze for an old woman etc... Most stuff is easily missable and really unimportant to the main story. It's not like Elden...
I came across this vid the other day soon after replying.

It just kinda showed up in the feed. Kinda ironic how stuff like that happens. Just thought I'd share.
yeah the images here get suffer pretty dramatically when uploaded. Both size and quality, but I mean it's convenient. Plus everything is jpeg to begin with.
Yeah Door Guardian is pretty close towards the end. He gave me some trouble first time through because perfect blocks are pretty much mandatory for him. The Green Monster of the Swamp fight becomes much much easier once you realize you can dodge roll through his rolling attack in his Puppet...
I haven't played in so long. I'm looking forward to seeing some Jack Gamplay. Jack was such a badass! I loved his moves more than anyone else. Probably my all time favorite fighting game character. Jack II being a close second.
*er wait a minute, I'm thinking prototype Jack as...
I've got the Vulcan tkl version that I use on my living room setup. I like it very much, probably under-rated even, or atleast doesn't seem to get a lot of talk. I think Roccat (rocket, I believe is how it is pronounced?) in general is pretty good quality. I got a Kone Aimo mouse aswell that...
