What about the fact that Windows XP supports multi-threading. even if a game is single threaded can't it still benefit? when gaming the OS also has to process other background tasks and other programs you might be using like teamspeak, AIM, ect..

you can edit the config file under /user profile/local settings/capcom/LP/config.ini file and manully change the reso.
i did this and it seemed to work in game but i think the stress test reverted back to default reso ...
lol this game runs like crap on my machine..got like ~18 fps
@1360x1016 reso (even though i changed it to 1680x1050 in the config??)
