I'm trying to install open office in osx on my MBP, I got the Intel OSX version but when I try to run it it asks for X11, when I try to install that, the installer says my OSX drive already has the latest version. What am I doing wrong?

There are bars on the top and bottom and they are about less than a centimeter in height.

I have the 2007wfp and you won't be dissapointed with it. However if want it for use with a 360 and prefer good colour over jaggies then get the 2407.

I'd say 2407 because of the component input, the colours look so much better IMO than VGA.

I agree with you 100% which is why I said that TFT monitors were at fault only partly as well.

Image quality aside, the colour saturation will be much better via component compared to VGA. I'm running through VGA on my 2007wfp atm and compared to shots of the 2407wfp running a 360 via component, there is a world of difference in colour.

I believe although for the most part it is the games themselves, the monitor does play a part, because on my old 17" CRT, NBA2K6 shows no jaggies whatsoever compared to my 2007wfp.

Gaming with the 360 is fine for most games but for some (eg PGR3 and NBA 2K6) jaggies are still quite prominent.

No banding that I have noticed so far, although I haven't done much PC gaming on it, mainly 360.

A good HDTV will always beat a TFT since thats what the games/console was designed for.

If it has component input then it should look great colour wise but if its VGA then there may be some washed out colours and some jaggies.

Kameo has 2 player co-op.

Its seeming more and more normal as I try different games, if they haven't incorporated an AA in them then they will like jaggy as hell on a TFT, whereas on a TV you don't see them due to the blurring.
