All 7 TSA master keys have been released to the public in 2016. But the TSA says it doesn't care because the locks are "peace of mind" for consumers and not actual security. If they really cared they would change the locks.
Right. I'd imagine that if backwards compatibility came with improved visuals and frame rates for old games, that could make the option more appealing, but it's 99% of the time the same, last gen experience.
The providers can't even give customers the full speeds of 4G. People should be excited for 5G why? So customers can pay more and hit their bandwidth caps faster than ever?
I got the Gigabyte P35x v6 with 1070 GPU and 4K screen. It's extremely thin while still fully loaded. Lots of storage options, and battery life for non-gaming use is close to 6 hours, which is excellent.
There's nothing wrong with the iphone using an IPS screen. Lots of phones use IPS screens. The fact the 7+ is still only 1080p would be the legitimate complaint.
Science Studio said the issue affected an old motherboard, but was fine on a newer Asus gaming board. I would also think motherboards that have supplemental power connectors for the PCI-E slots like the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H and GA-Z97X-UD5H would be fine too.
5 failures out of 207 isn't a very big sample, nor is 1 drive out of 47, especially when you look at the number of ST4000DM000 drives and even with 198 failures, that's stil 2.54%
Google needs too get microsoft in court and take apart those supposed patents so that those vendors that have already been conned out of royalties will be freed from those royalty payments that are keeping microsoft's phone division afloat
I just have to laugh over all of this. I don't know what bizarro world you worked in, but the in the average workplace these people would be fired, union or not. There's the possibility of the occasional work clique, where a small group of people at the office protect each other from getting in...
People like to use this rather hyperbolic talking point all the time, but never provide real proof to back it up. I worked for a union shop at one time. A unioned employee that didn't show up for work was fired. Period. To claim otherwise is absurd.
Except most of the time, union leaders are...
I haven't had that problem with mine. I've only heard the fans spin up during games, and even then they're barely audible. I have read more issues with the 7811 than the 173, but I just wrote that off as more people getting the 7811.
The RAID system on this laptop creates a "Recovery" partition automatically. While it's RAID0, and a VERY FAST RAID0, there's a little extra to it on this laptop. I realize it won't save from a complete drive failure, the purpose of the Recovery partition appears to be incremental backing up of...
I recently purchased the P-173xl, which is the brother of the 7811. These laptops are incredible values and I don't think they can be beat on the bang for the buck. I highly recommend them to anyone that's looking for a gaming laptop and don't want spend ridiculous amounts of money.
After much investigation into replacing my old Dell Gen1 XPS doorstop, I just picked myself up a Gateway P-173XL FX. 17' 1920x1200 screen, 2.4Ghz Intel T8300, 4GB RAM, 8800m GTS graphics, and 2 200GB drives running on built in RAID0. If anyone has seen the P-7811 at best buy, this is pretty much...
I am reminded of the time when Intel first got into the graphics market and their first AGP cards were supposed to be the start of a new push for gaming graphics cards. While their first AGP cards were actually fairly decent for the time, they never followed thru and the result is what we have...
The idea that any company would drop Nvidia -now- and hook up with Intel for a graphics chip that isn't going to be ready till at least the end of next year is laughable.
Historically, entertainment spending on items like video games and movies tends to go up during a bad stint for the economy because people have less money to spend on things like vacations and higher priced items.
Lets be honest here. The Metal Gear Solid series is not known for being "great fiction". Sometimes its writing has been barely at the level of "decent anime".
I saw this last night while at the gym. A bunch of us went "what the hell?!". We had never seen it before and were just disgusted. Immediately changed the channel, needless to say.
