I just got a set from Fry's yesterday, the box was really jacked up but inside everything was OK. Everything thing was in super tight wrapped in plastic and some other soft stuff. Got these up and running in about 5 minutes and they sound great even with just on board sound on my 890 fxa ud5.
Do you guys think that at 5760*1080 res wow is running out of video memory? When I get to really wide open areas it slows down so much. I wish crossfire was supported but I guess I will just wait a few more weeks for the 6900 series
I got a new Diamond 6870 for eyefinity and at 5760*1080 my FPS will shoot up and down, sometimes when I alt tab out it turns into a slide show forcing me to close WOW
I have a UD5 and I like it a lot as well. My only problem so far has been on cold boots no matter what I do it will not get to windows. I believe this issue is caused by my corsair force SSD but im still not sure.
More weird problems. On cold boot i get a ton of random bsods and what not. Now when I turn of my machine after the bsod and turn it on again, it works perfectly no issues. The bad thing is i never get the same BSOD. Something different every time.
I mean whats the luck with that. I dont know anyone that has had a cpu failure. My x2 3600 lasted for ever and it was overclocked on the stock crappy heatsink. The tech guy said it would take about a week so we shall see. Thankyou everyone for the ideas on what could be wrong. Ill post back the...
Determined it was the CPU. gigabyte tech support was awesome and we figured it out after about an hour of swapping between motherboards and ram. Unfortunately I only had 1 CPU and that was the weak link so ill RMA this one and hopefully get another back soon.
I got some new corsair XMS3 from the store today. Hopefully this will alleviate my issue. I really dont want to have to RMA this board, then have to wait a couple weeks...
Every thing powers on, so I assume its alright. Any way I test the ram it dosent change the fact that I cannot get video. I'm going to get some tomorow and see if that changes anythin.
I just turned it on again and in my old motherboard the 2nd light popped on and off signaling it might be the memory that is bad. Could that be whats not making my video appear?
Specs as follows:
UD5
1050T
4Gb OCZ gold 1066
GTX470
500GB caviar black
60GB corsair force
The thing i could not figure out was when I put my old mobo back in it did the exact same thing, no video. So im guessing when I took it all apart i killed something in the process.
So I just got a ud5 today, everything went smooth until I went to boot it up. Everything turned on except my video and my keyboard and mouse just laid there dead. Any ideas?
I have a vibrant as well. First I had a G1, which was great for its time but then started to crap out on me. Next I got the HD2, which sucked from the moment i got it until i put 2.1 on it. Now im at the vibrant and its my favorite phone to date, you just cant beat the hummingbird proc.
