this is probably a common question but i haven't been on this forum in a long while. When can we see mATX Conroe boards coming in the market? Or are they already out? I want one to put in my qpack and still use my 820 for the time being until i get conroe.
heh, i was just thinking that and i was just hoping nobody would say it. Yeah I need to upgrade. the 930 is looking good even the 950 ain't bad. Or.....I can try to go AMD? Nah...
Thanks Aiya, Accomodations are great haha Yeah I'm still at work, it is 8:00pm here in Vegas. 1 more hour and i'll be outta here. Gonna benchmark right when i get home.
oh cool, I thought that meant for each rail it should be 30A. I learned something today. Now another quick question. Will this be sufficient for crossfire? Thanks!
Mine came in today.
Quick question. Based on the ATI note inside that its recommended you use a 450w psu with 30A on a +12v Rail. I have a 550W Antec True Power 19A on dual rails. So obviously i'm not above the recommended amperage on +12v rail. What difference is this gonna do?
ITS FINALLY HERE!!!
new question
It came with little note inside the box saying that it is recommended that you have at least a 450W PSU with 30A on a +12V Rail. I have an Antec True Power 2.0 550W. Obviously i meet the 450W but i looked on the specs: +3.3V@32A, +5V@40A, +12V1@19A...
damn it dillusion. You beat me to that board. lol Well actually I decided to wait a lil bit. I got a WD RAID PCI card so i'm running my 2 raptors in RAID 0 now. You think there would be a difference if i was using a mobo with RAID onboard? Anyways.... just sold my x1800xl and about to order my...
New Intel matx LGA775 board I've come accross on newegg. Anybody know more about this motherboard? According to newegg specs, says it comes with RAID, that is the only difference i see between the regular p5ld2-vm. Looks interesting, I think I might buy it.
ASUS P5LD2-VM DH...
Now i'm not sure... can anybody confirm? Hey Dillusion........I found this.
ASUS P5LD2-VM "DH"
says has RAID

the LG81 has RAID? that was the one i was looking into getting because you have recommended that to me in the past. I looked on the ABIT site and didn't see in the specs anything about RAID. The P5LD2-VM i was also thinking of rebuying but i was reading a website saying that it doesn't have RAID...
Need recommendation for a mATX mobo with RAID. I just picked up 2 raptors and I wanna put them to good use. I'm gonna use it pretty much strictly just gaming. LGA775 Pentium D set up.
As most of you don't know, my p5ld2-vm died in my qpack a long time ago and I've been using my intel d945psn for the time being. I wanna rebuild my qpack, i got my eye on the Abit LG81. But I'm not sure whether to hold out or give in. Is there a new intel chipset that will come out soon to...
Thanks for the props. Well right now, all i have is the video card in. Other qpackers have more stuff in there like sound cards, tuners...etc. My qpack is pretty light and I can pick it up with confidence. But I can feel it twist when you rotate it. So i guess the answer to your question is , if...
thats retarded. I don't feel like checking my qpack in luggage. And I sure as hell don't feel like lugging around a monitor with me just to show thats its not a bomb. I can just imagine my qpack coming down from the luggage conveyer belt...........smack!
I'm planning a trip visit to my hometown of Chicago. I wanna bring my computer with me. I just wanna know since I've never taken my computer into an airport and into a plane. Do the airport authorities give you more trouble when carrying a pc on board. Do they make you open up the case upon...
The length will definitely clear because it is pretty roomy inside the qpack. The height is the one that needs to be concerned with. My x1800xl just sits below my power supply and almost touching.
My vid card sits on the first slot.
my ASUS P5LD2-VM crapped out on me and i returned it. Now I need a replacement. I mosltly use my PC for games. Anyone have a recommendation for a good board for my gaming needs? It needs to support Pentium D and it has to be a mATX. Also planning to upgrade to the Pentiumd 9xx series so the...
