I am parting out my entire NASA desktop as I am needing to downsize to a mobile platform. New job = new apartment for me and my family = no room for my massive gaming rig. I am looking for a good home for each part and piece. I am willing to make deals on bulk purchases but all payments are...
The 460 runs much cooler than the 470 & 480 counterparts. also your NIC card should be fairly small and shouldn't cover the fan area of your card. If your case has good airflow you shouldn't have any issues
Dual 460's are the best price but spanning across 3 screens with anything not mid/high end will yield lower than 60FPS.
What games do you plan to play? are you using the 3 monitor span for anything other than gaming?

I have a slew of items I have been sitting on since I have started upgrading my PC. In that I figured I would try to sell the items instead of let them sit unused in my closet. All my products were purchased new & I am the original owner. I have all the receipts and dates of purchase if you...
GTX 295, HeatKiller water block and PSU have all been sold. I also took the advice of Ivan and added all my aliases to my heatware account.
Thanks for the bump Linden

I thing in general the layout is the same. The only question I have is did they add more memory modules or did they add bigger ones. that is really the only difference between the cards is the memory.
I had a GTX 295 paired with a 9800GT and by moving PhysX to the 9800GT gave me a performance drop in benchmarks like AA & Vantage, If anything to get the same performance if not better you need a card that can run as fast as a 9800GTX+ or better.
I plan to use dual GTX 480's with no dedicated...
So I have had my system on water cooling for a bit and have just recently started to really push the system in regards to OC'ing. but I have ran into an issue with the system that is very odd.
Any time I push the CPU over 4.0GHz I get a 8d error on the debug screen. I can get past the error...
I did a small mod to allow proper airflow for my GTX 240 radiator which will play host to cooling my 2 GTX 480's when I actually get them. I was able to get my GTX 295 on water in the mean time but for now here is the small break down of the mod I did.
I started by breaking down the lower...
I just recently finished my Water cooling build in the Corsair Obsidian case. Overall the thing is awesome, it allows tons of room for water cooling & has mos of the options I need covered. here are some images of my before & finished case.

Very nice scores all around. I myself am going with 2 EVGA GTX 480 HC FTW cards, to avoid the overall sound/heat debate with these cards. While overall I do not mind heat, sound is always a factor as my system site on top of my desk right next to me. If I need more cool air I juts open a window :)
I was unable to track down this information on the website and figured the information might come in handy for anyone looking at these radiators. The full retail box on some of HL's products list this info while most do not.
