I finished mass effect a while ago and I'm on disc 4 of lost odyssey. Both are extremely good. Lost odyssey is badass. Mass Effect 2 will be phenomenal.

i have surround sound but not an optical audio cable going from the 360 to my reciever... does this mean the sound for me wont be good? I guess you'd call this "stereo" sound. But somehow i get sound in all 5.1 channels..they're just not descreet sounds.

Not at all. In fact I only got into consoles about a year ago. Before that I was on board with sony. Rooting for them and hoping their system would trumph all like the ps2 dominated. But I like giving credit where it is due. Sony fell short, way short this generation.

Someone must not be very good at Halo 3 Legendary. I beat it in two days. Its just waves of enemies. There's no "freak out" factor, like there was in doom 3.

Freespace 2, Age of Empires 2, X-com: UFO Defense, Final Fantasy VIII, Doom I II & III. These games are awesome.

This is not good news for me. Doom 3 was awesome because it was dark and i was creeped the hell out and tensed up waiting for monsters around every corner. If I wanted a point and shoot and not be afraid id stick with halo 3. Theres a game where you just moe down enemies..
