I am wanting to either use a GPO or some other way to automate a disk clean up on user machines and maybe a way to schedule a defragment.
How do you do this? Or suggestions?
Exactlly if the servers are pulling are through them front to back what good is space on top going to do? Most have a solid panel on the top and bottom so the air flows front to back without the disturbance of it being able to exit anywhere else.
maybe I am doing something wrong. It just sits there and never gives me results.
ANything I am doing wrong?

I'm a little dissatisfied with their product in terms of malware / unwanted application removal, but other than that they do good. Technical support as always been very very helpful.
Yep I have the office 2003 and office 2000 adm files loaded. They unfortunatlly do not have a setting for start up folder. They only way to do that is with a custom ADM or by walking around to all the machines and fixing that advanced option. And creating the custom ADM was easier. :)
I actually created a Administrative template in GPO for this. It then makes the registry change on all the users machines when they log in to the domain.

Which looked like this:
CLASS USER
CATEGORY "Outlook Defalut Page"
POLICY "Outlook Today"...
Never mind, I just figured it out. Well the Registry Key that is. Would love to know if someone knows how to do it in GPO.
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\xxxx\0a0d02000000....
001e0336=IPF.TodaysOutlook (Enabled) /IPF.Note (Disable)
Ok so I have installed the Administrative templates from MS into my group policy settings on me Server 2003 R1 DC.
What I am wanting to do is:
Have the outlook today page come up as the default page for my users. ( 50+ of them) I already changed the GPO for the custom outlook today page...
This tool here looks to take the data most managed switches report in and then convert it so you can read it easier and get mro einformation out of it.

I am looking at the Observer suite linked above. Thank you both for the information.
I have about 15 computers on a network. I would like to have something in place that would allow me to monitor what user is useing the most bandwidth and ect. Would a managed switch allow this or is there another solution for this?
Awesome, thanks for the replys guys. I have heard people say stay away from the Best Buys, Circut Citys, and ect thats why I posted. I want to make sure I spend the money correctlly for good audio components. Granted you don't get as much but the quality is what I am after here, with the ability...

Yeh, what about the 700 mhz machines? Is there such things as empty rack mount slots that you can mount your own hardware into? I was kinda wanting to take those machines and the server and turn them all into a nice rack with mounts that allow for that. Any ideas, my google searching has...
I just phased out a lot of older machines at work. I'm trying to think of something I could do with them all if I bought them cheap.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I just made a website for around that price and a mac would be kinda nice to have. Would the mini be able to support 1680x1050 rez?
Yeh dunno if this is the place to ask but been toying around with trying to install OS X on my PC to see if I would want to "switch". I got a "copy" and now just need direction on how to get this "copy" to load on my AMD machine.
The fan always runs, make sure it's connected via the wires.
You should have already RMA's this and could of had it in the mail before the weekend. But now your have to wait even longer. RMA it already you paid money for a completlly assembled and working product. Pretty sure the box doesn't...
Yeh I mean the crackling could be only electricty arcing off something which is only hooked to over 1000 dollars worth of components. I wouldn't worry either.
