The fix I found was to download the drivers from asus and "magically" the optical light turned on!! Asus has the Realtek drivers for my board so maybe DFI's site will have them for yours. If not, try realtek's website. Why, Oh, Why does Nvidia try so hard to make me hate them!

I bought 3 LCD desk mounts from geeks.com for 19.99 a peice and they work great! They are rated for >= 17" monitors but I put one on a Gateway 27" LCD TV and is working like a champ. I give geeks.com credit for that even though it seems the rest of the cheap stuff is junk...
