I'm using a 14900k without issues so far. In fact I never updated to the n ew bios with changes to the voltage etc etc. I run it stock and it's been fine.
Just realized my sig is so old lol. I have to update that.
This GPU came out of my daughter’s gaming machine, never overclocked always run in A cool machine runs perfect. No retail box. GPU only.
Edit: I see a lot of gpu’s for sale here and eBay etc that were used to mine. This card was never used to mine. Only game period. Never abused. Just giving a...
You mean this thread that hasn’t had a post since Jan 6th of this year?
https://hardforum.com/threads/samsung-odyssey-oled-g9-49-5120x1440-super-ultrawide-qd-oled.2024565/
Yup that is the one.
Just want to add that I am also fairly surprised that this display doesn’t get more attention here. I paid 1100 at Best Buy with the total membership thing I post for yearly so it would have been 100 more if not and at that price point I find it to be fantastic. I believe...
I picked up this display two weeks ago and I have to say I’m very impressed. So far so good. Running with a 14900k and 4090 everything looks and runs amazingly well. I’m very happy with it so far. I used display guys calibration settings and that made a big difference. Without his settings hdr...
Nice monitor. So i saw this one is 700 bucks or so. They also have a cheaper model for 300 and some change. I only scanned the pages quickly. What's the main difference?
I’ve had these two 1080ti’s since first month of launch always been kept cool in my cosmos 2 case and never over clocked. I’m getting ready to do a new build in the next couple of months and so since sli is dead I have no need for the second card. I will keep this machine as a backup with one...
I think x99 is probably my last hedt to be honest. I just don’t see a need anymore. I’m not going to run sli anymore and I don’t run anything that exotic that requires a ton of pcie lanes/bandwidth so ya. I mainly only game on my main systems so it’s geared to that end.
Latest rumors suggest...
No doubt that Chip is sweet. Tbh of new NVIDIA gpu’s were out in the wild I would have pulled the trigger already. For me thought without the gpu upgrade along with new cpu mb ram etc I don’t feel I’m getting as much shelf life out of my platform. Since that chipset is gonna be eol soon.
I...
9900ks runs all core 5ghz out of the box. You lowered it to 4ghz? Am I understanding correctly? Why not run real world comparison where your 4ghz oc system goes against the 5ghz new system and then see where the difference lies? I mean you aren’t gonna run the new chip at 4ghz are you?
I have...
You may be right about the silicon economics and if you are they have a problem long term. Sure they’ll still sell cards to high end enthusiasts that will pay almost what ever they charge but that's a much smaller market than they want or need. We’ll see I guess.
If they had made that a titan wouldn’t people have expected it to be more powerful than it was then? It was barely worthy of the ti moniker as it is. Calling it a titan at that level of performance doesn’t really help it imo. Just makes it worse.
The truth is the card doesn’t offer enough...
Nvidia wants to sell as many cards as possible across their whole lineup. They are going to make the value vs performance vs cost this time better and more in line with how the 1080ti was. They know they have to do that to attract as many customers as possible. Where exactly it's gonna fall I...
Yes glad they have had such a useful shelf life and I got my money's worth out of them for sure. That said it does not change the fact that the 2080ti was way way over priced and stil is for what you get. No way a flagship enthusiast card should run 1000-1200 each. No sorry,
As far as being let...
I stand corrected. You prompted me to look through my emails. Apparently I didn't buy my 1080ti's from Nvidia I bought from bestbuy. They were FE's and I bought 2 and you're correct they were not 550 each. I paid 1399.98 for 2. Which is 700.00 each. My bad. I think I had 550 each in mind because...
You take the 1080ti performance which on launch day I bought two. Two fe cards direct from Nvidia. Paid off I remember correctly 550 each. So running sli for 1100. Take one 2080ti which isn’t an upgrade since I would need two and you had 2400 at launch. Fuck it say 2000 which wasn’t doable for...
To be honest I haven’t tried the sp yet. So my experience is mp only. My issue was definitely related to my sli being enabled at all. Even though the game only uses one card. For some reason the profile for the game was set to run sli and I couldn’t change it to single card only in the driver...
So after trying evrything I finally figured out the problem. I run SLI 1080ti's and since the game only uses one card I tried last night and this morning multiple times in the driver profile to use only one card just in case sli was casuing an issue but it wouldn't me for some reason. I have...
On a side note I really can’t play the game. It momentarily freezes and stutters in mp every few secs. This did not happen in the beta. Latest drivers installed. I’ve tried turning off all over lays and background processes. Changed prices affinity etc no help. It’s really starting to piss me...
Cause I felt like guessing and wasn't thinking of looking it up at that particular moment. That ok with you my brother? Did it cost you something? /Curious.
I think I got them confused. Ya I thought that was the 10 core cpu. So just a better binned 9900k then I guess? Guaranteed boost all core 5ghz? They really need a new higher core count flagship cpu. Wtf Intel. Asleep at the switch while and is moving along it seems.
It's a 9900k on steroids with more cores and a lil higher boost clocks I believe. I'm interested in doing a new build around this cpu as well. So I'm waiting till fall.
I’ve been using SLI like a lot of people in this forum over the years for a very long time. For the most part and most games that I care about which are most AAA games it has worked pretty good overall. There are some games that are problematic of course. However frostbite is usually not one of...
Your wrong. Mgpu works great in Most AAA games. This engine handles SLI very well if they just put in the effort to get it to work. My scolding is hardly misplaced. Nvidia charges a fuck ton of money for their shit thus I expect it to work. Guess I'm crazy.
No SLI support go figure. Yes running latest drivers that came out today. Complete bs. Frostbite can do sli just fine but obviously it wasn't a priority for Dice.
