the hd 555s aren't surround sound? and are they comfortable over a long time? like few hours?

its not really frozen so much as it seems to just not register the shut down command. like the "Restart/Shut Down/Log Off" window will just go away (after i click Shut Down) and literally it will just chill like i didn't tell it to shut down.

i actually checked the audio and not that many threads came up, maybe my keyword was wrong. Well i wont be listening to them in a noisy environment but if i go away for college next year i'll prolly something to block out the outside noise, i dont really care if ppl hear what i'm listening to...

I bought a dell computer less than 2 months ago and it has Windows XP Media Center 05, and im alreaedy have trouble with the system. Its a lot slower and when i shut it down, nothing happens. Like literally nothing happens and i cant press ctrl+alt+delete cuz the task manager doesn't show up...

whats Ultra ATA? right now i have SATA and its really quite quiet, i would hate to get a UATA and find out its noisy? any help? are UATA's loud?
