I just bought a Princeton 20.1" widescreen from Costco and I love it. It displays at 1680x1050 with a 8ms response time, DVI, VGA, and speakers. Cost me $250 and if anything ever goes wrong with it I can return it to them for a full return, no questions asked. It was like day and night...
I have only broken a hundred points once or twice before so it was definitely nice, we played excellent as a squad. Probably one of my most enjoyable BF2 experiences, we will have to play again sometime.
Just played on the server, had a great couple games. I played squad leader and had two great [H] members who played awesome. The three of us led our team each game. Great server to play on!
yeah, i would have to agree about most clanners being a bunch of whining babies. I own everyone on Wake Island on a constant basis, i have screen shots of me winning with 97 points witht the next person maybe 60, and three of me killing Nastie_Butler, and then have to listen to a clan bitch and...
I work at Costco, so I'll say thanks for pointing our site out to other people... As for the guy wondering about warranties, you don't need one with us. You buy and if you aren't 100% satisfied with it or don't feel you got the lifetime use out of it bring it back for a full refund. Hell you...
It's not online, but a good reference book with a lot of pictures is Maximum PC's Building A Dream PC. I used it when I built my first system and had no problems that it and this forum couldn't answer.
Why is it $100? I bought an Athena 500w for the computer in my sig for $45 and mine runs great, ten times better than the generic 450w my case came with.
I just clicked on that link above and it showed all the participating manufacturers, and XFX does it too. I just registered because I bought my 7800GT last week, so now I get the game too. In addition to a $30 MIR that I got through New Egg!! This Rocks!!!
Costco has a 205 piece rotary tool set for $25. I bought it and it works great, plus with Costco if anything ever happens to it I can return it for a full refund.
I hooked up my computer to my 47" widescreen tv (Samsung rear-projection HDTV) through VIVO to component input on the tv and it didn't turn out how I wanted it. I set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 which is 1080i and it still had a blurry look to it, Battlefield 2 wouldn't even start. If you...
Just a little tip for anyone having trouble with Winamp's hot keys. When i did mine, I selected Play and hit the Play/Pause button, then selected Pause and hit the Play/Pause button again. It wouldn't register the Pause because you can't have more than one function per key... but if you look...
I saw a post on here a couple weeks ago about this, do a search for 5.25 bay ideas, and it is in there. It is an LCD screen, 6.5" I believe for about $60.
Well nevermind.. I just did a search, found the thread and the link to the screen and it is now taking me to the main page of the store...
I bought a G15 a week ago and love it. I've been trying to mess around with the SDK to program some new stuff onto the LCD. It's very nice quality and lights up the keys very well. I highly recommend it.
I have an XFX 6600GT and have never had any problems with it. The temps stay just fine. In fact I just ordered their 7800GT because I think they are reliable cards that run great. My 6600GT runs BF2 at high settings and 2xAA with no problems, but I wanted to upgrade so I can turn up...
I had the same problem with my computer. I can't quite remember what I did to fix it, but make sure you are coming out of the right DVI port... one of them is off by default I think. Try switching to different outputs.
If you need a good book with a lot of pictures of building your computer in case you get stuck, I recommend Maximum PC's Building A Dream PC. I bought it about 9 months ago and read through it twice before I built my first PC. It answered any question I had and then gave me a few pointers I...
In my computer I have my Samsung DVD-RW and a Samsung DVD so I can copy DVDs straight to DVD-Rs. I have 4 5.25 bays, so that takes up two. Then eventually an X-Fi will go in there and maybe a fan controller, leaving for your PC only one extra...
I have had an XFX 6600GT (PCI-Ex16, 128mb GDDR3, 128 bit, 550 mhz, 1050mhz) for about 6 months now and love it. I have had no problems what so ever with it. I regularly play Battlefield 2, I have all settings on high, 2x AA, at 1280x960 (keeping 4:3 aspect ratio), 95% visibility and it runs...
It was showing my CPU temp around the upper forties, with my system zone one and two around lower to mid forties which seems high. I had my CPU temp at mid to lower forties with my stock Intel heatsink back when the program would run. I have six fans in my case, not including power supply or...
I have the same problem, I used to use the Intel Desktop software for my D925XECV2 then when I switched to XP 64 it stopped working. Before I installed XP 64 I reformatted my OS hard drive, installed XP 64, then tried installing the Intel software. It cancelled installation saying it couldn't...
