Their lense deals are pretty good now. If anyone sees a Canon EF 100mm Macro, buy it and PM me. I'll paypal you the amount + some extra for your troubles. =]
I downloaded the newest drivers, never installed off the cd. I know the G5 has problems with some buttons, but I have it working for the most part with uberoptions in games. It's just the keyboard that's not working.
So I recently built a new computer and installed Vista 64. I installed SetPoint for my MX3100 combo (LX700 keyboard + MX1000 mouse) and G5 mouse. None of the extra keys on the LX700 keyboard work. I have SetPoint running in admin mode, but that didn't do anything for me.
What I've tried...
Those temps were using SpeedFan. I'm using Real Temp now.
I did the 7v mod to 7 120mm fans in my case earlier today, so the conditions aren't the same as above.
Real Temp 2.0
Core 1: 33C
Core 2: 33C
Core 3: 39C
Core 4: 34C
I ran the Intel Burn Test 10 times, which took about 30...
That noise stopped for almost all of last night, but then it was doing it again in the morning, but has stopped since 4pm (at 4, I openned my case and did the 7v mod to all the casefans). I don't know what's going on, but since it's not making those sounds, I'm going to leave it as is.
Doesn't seem too bad. Just ran the Intel Burn Test 10 times which took about 30 minutes to finish and my max temp was 57C on Core 2 while 55C on Core 0, 1, and 3.
The only thing that worries me is my idle temp. Cores 0,1, and 3 idle at 33 while Core 2 idles at 39. I think one corner of the...
Hey guys, I have an AC7Pro on a Q9550 + DS3R combo stock (no OC). I'm checking my core temps in Speedfan and at idle, they're at:
Core 0: 35C
Core 1: 35C
Core 2: 41C
Core 3: 36C
I'm curious as to why Core 2 is so much higher than the rest. Could it be because of the thermal paste not...
Cross post from the Motherboard section.
So today I came home to my computer making these funny sounds. Every few minutes or so, the cpu fan gets real loud for 10 seconds or so, then goes back to normal.
My friend who owns a DS3L + E8400 + AC 7 Pro said I had to set my CPU fan to PWM. But...
So I have a Q9550 + DS3R combo going on. I have an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro attached. I got it up and running last thursday, and today, I came home to my computer making these funny sounds. Every few minutes or so, the cpu fan gets real loud for 10 seconds or so, then goes back to normal...
I do about every 2-3 years.
Started with a 1 ghz T-bird in 2001, then a 2.8 P4 in 03, 3.2 P4 with HT in 05, 3800x2 in 06, Q9550 in 08. The 06 one was because my brother in law was in need of a computer, so I gave him the P4 and updated to dualcore.
So I threw in my friends Corsair DDR2 800 and booted, got into BIOS, changed DRAM voltage to 2.0 and then swapped his RAM out for mine. The first 2 sticks I put in didn't work, changed it for another 2 I have on hand and it works now. Installing drivers and everything for now with just 2 Gb...
Wow, thanks for all the information. I'm using cheap cheap cheap generic RAM that came with a Dell. It probably can't handle the OC, therefore resulting in the looping reboots.
I'll borrow some Corsair DDR2 800 RAM from a friend who recently built a computer to see if I can get into BIOS...
For the VelociRaptor drive, do I have to have SATA drivers on hand? My friend with a DS3L said he didn't need anything when he installed Vista 64 on his new rig, but I remember needing SATA drivers for my current computer when I installed XP Pro.
So last night, I put everything together and it's a no go for now.
Comp won't boot up at all with anywhere from 1-4 sticks of OCZ Gold (which the specs are 2.0V), so I took them out in exchange for some generic RAM I'm using now which I know will work. This got the comp to boot to the...
I have OCZ Gold which runs at 2.0V. Comp won't even post. I stuck in some generic DDR2 533 that I currently use and finally got the Gigabyte load screen, but nothing works after that. TAB doesn't get me to anything, DEL doesn't get me to BIOS. It was extremely frustrating last night. But...
He's basically working more.
Take off 3 weeks paid
Work 3 weeks paid + computer parts
I don't see how he's scamming the school at all. I don't see how he's screwing tax payers. He's putting more time in, so he should be paid more.
MG Cross Bone Gundam.
I used to love PG Gundams, but there's just not enough of them. Now I stick with MG Gundams so that my collection is all the same size, and there's so many more MGs than PGs. Unicorn Gundam FTW.
If you're going to get the Asus GTX 260, might as well get this one.
