But like... That wouldn't show up anywhere else? I've been using this PC since Christmas. Surely a memory fault would've crashed my other games by now? Especially more graphically intense games like Cyberpunk and Alan Wake 2. I also just tried another EAC game (Fall Guys) and that one works fine.

Update: It appears to be EAC causing my system to crash. I disabled EAC and it's no longer crashing! However... That's not really a good long term solution if I want to play multiplayer. I found this thread describing the same issue...

I'm trying Elden Ring out on my new PC and it's crashing my whole entire system. Game runs fine for a few minutes and then the frame rate drops to 3 (literally 3), audio becomes choppy, my whole system is lagging like crazy, then my computer reboots. Found the culprit. Somehow my Windows power settings got updated to turn my display off after 15 minutes. Not sure how. It was previously set to never.

My C1 has been powering itself down after sitting idle for a while. It must be from a recent update because it never did this before. No diff, still tearing. Is it weird that it's only tearing on the lower quarter of the screen? Rest of the screen is perfect and tear free.

What about it isn't a huge leap? The passthrough quality is light years ahead of the Quest 2. Though I suppose that isn't saying much. I could douse my eyes in battery acid and get a better image than Quest 2's passthrough.

Frame gen is making the lower quarter of the screen tear for me. Is there any way to avoid that? Gsync is on, vsync is on in NVCP, vsync is off in game. Frame rate is capped at 117 in NVCP (display caps out at 120 hz).

Something like this. Notice how the straight lines get a little bendy when nearing the left edge of the lens. They also get pulled closer together. As if the lens is a bit convex (or concave?) at the extreme left. As compared to my first headset which didn't warp the lines at all:

For which issue? The warping at the edge of the lens? All I need to do is look near the left-most edge of the lens and see that it's bending light enough to warp the image. Whereas my first headset doesn't do that at all. Image stays uniform / unwarped all the way to the edge.

I feel like I spent 5 hours in Forsaken Fen. The level design in this game is really intricate. So many alternative and hidden paths. It's an explorer's dream. That being said, I'd be ok with never seeing another swamp area in a video game again. I'm over it.

They really need to do something about the crashing. Forsaken Fen has been a super unstable area for me. I crashed numerous times just exploring and once in the middle of a boss fight. Still greatly enjoying the game but this is putting a damper on things.
