sparks the p5b latest bios is 1212 or maybe 1215. Either one will support the new GO stepping chips. Q6600 GO included.:)

Of the ones you listed I would go with the p5k or the ip35.

Do you know what stepping that q6600 is? Did you just get it? If it's a GO stepping then you may not have the bios for it.

I would imagine they would be about even.

I can get about 3000 out of my 6420 on stock vcore. It's not a great chip but it can go 1400mhz over stock.3551:o

Hit the button on a e6850 just minutes ago. I'm going to see what my p5b-deluxe can do with it. Along with 2 gig of crucial ballistix. :D Didn't get it from the egg though, they were higher than everybody else.:mad:

You need to take any software temp monitoring program with a grain of salt. None of them are dead on accurate. I have as much as 20°c difference on diff programs.

I'm probably going to try a 6850, but not sure at the moment.

That Corsair 620 will do just fine.

Test with multi meter, if you get the same results, yes that's a problem.

They're showing bios 1004 and up supports it. I got my p5b deluxe in april and it shipped with the 1004 bios. By the time Penryn comes out I will have moved on to another board anyway.

Could very well be the psu. Antec has been having a lot of problems lately.

I just upgraded from a p4 northwood in April. Went with a p5b deluxe, e6420, 2x2gig crucial ballistix and 8800gts 640. The difference is like night and day.:cool:
