ok, I would like to know someone who bought his 3000+ OEM from E-WIZ this week (AUG 24) what results did you get? E-WIZ is selling both a BP (that I believe is a E3) and a BW (E6)... BP cost a little more than BW, I dont know wich one to choose to most chance of better overclock! thanks.
yes, I agree with you that there's no point in buying a low cost VGA and keep spending in it with a comercial VGA cooler and etc, ... the only thing I applied in it is ramsinks home made with an old TNT2 aluminum heatsink that I cut in 8 pieces :) :) :) and applied with thermal adhesive... the...
After fixing my temperature problem (now it doesn't goes over 74oC) I've made my first overclock with 6200:
6350 points in 3dmark03 and 2728 3dmark05!

Ok, I removed both core heatsink and HSI heatsink, cleaned up and applied Artic Silver 5... max temperature in rthdribl is now 70oC and ATITOOL = 74oC... much better!! idles at +or- 52oC... now I can do some overclock... one question: when you overclock with coolbits, do you always change both...
ok, I ran rthdribl... max temp 77oC... then I ran ATITOOL = 83oC... ATITOOL is still better to test max temperature of the board... and I've got those temperatures using RivaTunner, I found out the funcation that I always was searching for: place the temperature in the tray bar... thanks riva...
so you have made winfox temperature work? Humm did you download the last version of ATITOOL? it stress much more than anything the GPU... try another version, maybe it will work. here winfox has the warning at 132oC, there its the same? thanks.
hummmmmmmmmm, no, I believe its not about the driver version... hummm, what you have to do is go to an option in the winfox that updates itself... then try if the options are not greyed out anymore...
anyway if you can't get the temperature with winfox, you can use the bios modification...
your card is leadtek right? if it is, you have to right click it's icon in the left of windows clock (lower right of the screen) and select Advanced Tools, there you will have the Temperature Monitor button.
here agp too.
pxc, do you have a leadtek 6200 AGP 128/128?? where is this auto-detect frequencies function?? are you reading the core temperature? try using ATITOOL to stress the CPU and then tell me if possible how hot the core goes, I want to know if my card is normal, I wasn't used to a VGA heating up...
Yes, winfox came on the cd. If you installed it you can read core temperature, I would like to know what temperature you read when using ATITOOL 3DVIEW, cause it stress the GPU... you can download it, search google. I want to know if it's normal to the leadtek to go 80-90oC hot...
Hello, I have bought a leadtek 6200 AGP and I'm a little confused with this thread because I read a lot of people going to very high clocks with the 6200, like 450+ core, 650+ memory, but no one talks about heatsinks and/or coolers, so I don't know, are you doing those overclocks with stock...
