Samsung CF791 34" |3440x1440 / RTX 2080ti. How the heck do I enable the setting in the control panel? I've enabled Freesync on the monitor's side but cannot get the driver to activate it.
I set the monitor to enable Freesync. I enabled the setting in the nvidia control panel. I'll be darned...
Nope. Well, I don't believe they do. The EVGA 2080ti XC was the first of 2 2080ti's that died on me.....on my 3rd FE right now and so far so good for about 2 weeks
I had one EVGA 2080ti OC Edition die on me. I sent that back for refund. I then bought a 2080ti FE from Nvidia.com thinking that would be a safe bet....I didn't read all the forums on Nvidia.com or here before placing the order or I wouldn't have. The card arrived super quick too. This card...
Spoke to soon....JUST after I logged into [H] for a status update on my replacement card....it just died around 30 seconds into AC Odyssey. I got the space aliens dancing from 1980 artifacts....oh joy....
Back to my 1080 for a bit and RMA time...again.......
The card I returned was the EVGA 2080ti variant. Thing ran super hot and I began seeing early signs of death....IE stuttering, flickering, etc so I just did a standard no questions asked return. I'm waiting still for a week now for the actual refund to appear....
I'm on week 1 of my new FE...
Saw this on another forum. The left side is the stock 2080ti FE, the right side is an MSI 2080ti. The voltage regs are snuggled up against the memory chips on the stock FE. MSI moved them away. The micron chips will self destruct past 90c apparently. This *could* be what we're witnessing...
EVGA RTX 2080ti OC Edition headed back this morning. Running super hot, 83-90c on 100% FANS. Lot's of stuttering almost like a throttling on/off on/off kind of feeling. My case is very well ventilated. My prior 1080FE ran for years at max of 76c. I'm starting to see weird pixelated shadows...
Got a surprise notice from Amazon.com this morning that my EVGA RTX 2080ti shipped and will be delivered today. So odd since my update I got from them on Friday said 10/5-10/9... oh well, I'll have something to play with today
Dang, just got an email from Amazon saying my 2080ti has been delayed until 10/21/18......already cancelled my Nvidia order. Both were ordered as soon as they were able to within like 5 minutes....oh well probably a good thing after all and just hang onto my OC'd 1080FE for now.....
I think for those no one knows yet, however.....all the other ones it's one or the other. I really hope I can run both as I bought 2 cards...
Maybe in the new SLI I can have one do RT and the other card do AA?
Welp, in for one....probably I'm just over adderalled this morning....

I have an update to this incident. So, Samsung is taking the other route with this. They are refusing to cover any charges and even had the nerve to send me an invoice for 215.42. Needless to say, I'm filing a case with the court house Monday morning. Shame on Samsung. They are stating that...
I find it interesting that the "moderator" of the samsung site closed the thread down.

Hi all.
Closing this thread, as the best thing to do in this instance is to have your phone physically inspected by one of our engineers in your area. Each case is treat...

Wow! Thank you for the link. So this is a known issue for sure. Perhaps now that someone potentially got hurt they will address and or recall the Note 8's.
Had follow up appt. this morning. All appears to be okay. Maybe some redness to what ever was in the 'dust' but no particulates in the eye. I had the call with Samsung. They are offering compensation to cover the MD visits and shipped some kind of special box that I will have to mail the...
I think it does have 2x mechanical zoom. I was in 1x mode when I shot the pics though. Now that bman212121 brought it up, I took the phone to Tmobile 2 months back because I felt it was operating too hot. They updated the software and said that should fix it. I don't think it overheated when...
I agree, totally random. I have the phone in a case always, with a screen protector, etc to keep it safe. It was just one of those things I guess. Samsung is, from what I can tell, taking it serious as they have a call set up for tomorrow at 11:30 with me to discuss what happened, injuries...
The blur is not noticeable to me at all really. I ran the same test and did not have it as bad as that video. MUCH better than that prior Samsung curved that I had
I have an Nvidia gtx 1080. I pretty much always use the adaptive sync option in the control panel. To be honest, I had a gsync monitor and its not a huge difference in my opinion. I frequent the witcher 3...and let me tell you, this monitor is SO nice. Very little tearing at all with...
1 year old Samsung S34790C. Zero dead pixels. Zero damage. Perfect condition
I just upgraded to the new model Samsung CF791 34" Curved screen and not enough desktop real estate for 2 giant monitors.
425.00+ shipping. I have the box to the new monitor still and can repack this one into that...
Just got this monitor to replace my Samsung S34E790C 34"
Initial thoughts:
Zero dead pixels
No light bleed
Quantum Dot tech really does make the colors much more vibrant
White is much more true to life white vs. slightly grey / yellow hue on the S34E790C
Text is sharper (the other monitor uses...

Frank Baressi, 62, the driver of the truck and owner of Okemah Express LLC, said the Tesla driver was "playing Harry Potter on the TV screen" at the time of the crash and driving so quickly that "he went so fast through my trailer I didn't see him."
"It was still playing when he died and...
Actually not low resolution at all. I was curious of course and tried out czech VR 4k virtual. On my Galaxy Note 5 with Samsung VR, it was very clear. Mostly you can only look up and down and about 20 degrees L/R but it was.....an experience.
On the oculus dk2, a bit pixelated, but i'm...
The Samsung LS34E790CNS/ZA has been great for a VA screen. The curve really helps reduce the VA screen effect. I had the curved LG 34" screen prior but the IPS glow and 'screen door' effect was really noticeable to me and very distracting.
