I have an update to this incident. So, Samsung is taking the other route with this. They are refusing to cover any charges and even had the nerve to send me an invoice for 215.42. Needless to say, I'm filing a case with the court house Monday morning. Shame on Samsung. They are stating that "The damage was caused by misuse". So, apparently using the camera as designed and having it explode in someones face is misuse. And my favorite is that they changed the ticket to "out of warranty"...the phone is 5 months old...

Even before the whole exploding battery incident, I didn't have faith in Samsung for warranties. Had some issues with phones, TVs and whatnot. LG is better.
