This is the one I just got. Very impressed so far. Specs say 1860mhz boost clock but I've seen it hit 1935 and 1950. Nice and quiet, highest temp so far is 65c and the fans literally blowing cool air out the ends. And it plays minesweeper at 4k with software ray tracing enabled @ 1500fps

How are you liking that mobo so far? That's the one I'm thinking of picking up in a couple weeks

Was there any issues installing the kaby lake cpu? Some of the other boards require having a skylake installed before you can flash the bios to support kaby

Got it setup this morning, and after some issues with it not folding at all I'm at about 180k ppd with just the vid card. It's actually a 290 unlocked to a 290x running @ 1000/1250 so I'm pretty stoked. On project 9101 its 2:14 tpf while my 660ti is at 4:11 tpf, so almost twice as fast :)

With any luck I'll be setting up a 290x to the folding machine today. I was wondering if there's any updated pod info out there. Early on it varied from 115k - 180k per day, then abysmaly lower like 60k. Any one else folding with these have any guesstimates?

How does this compare to Tonido? It's free and steams just about everything as well as being a remote access app for phones & tablets.

I switched to driver 326.80 about 10 days ago and what a difference, almost double ppd. To be clear on the cpu threads to use, I don't have hyperthreading so make that 2? And do I only change the cpu threads in the cpu slot, not the gpu slot...since the options are available in both?

I've started folding again and would like to know what settings I should use to get the most out of my gpu. I've read that the new gpu client likes to dedicate 1 cpu core....should I leave the client setting at -1 or is there something better. Running a 2500k @ 4.2ghz and a 660ti at the moment

Mac's are still the same price. I paid ~$100 for 64KB (kilobyte) ram in 85-86. Even had to de-solder the old 8 chips out and solder the new ones in plus a couple jumper wires. I think the worst was paying $100 for 16KB ram expansion box for my Timex Sinclair 1000
