Hi, I want to start an owners thread about this board since it has loads of bugs...
Let me start the posting with a few questions to other owners:
What BIOS version did ur board come with - and how hot does ur chipset get?
So far I've had 2 boards and both of them have failed to...

Hi,
I've been wating for hybrid SLI motherboards with intel socket LGA775 to arrive for quite some time - and now it seems the time is near. Only problem now is that in order to have hybrid power working, a system will require a hybrid SLI certified PSU :/ ...
I've won a coolermaster 1kW...
Hi
I was wondering if I am correct in assuming that sharing movie trailers is NOT illegal. I've seen no copyright msgs in any of the trailers I've been looking at, so would I be correct in assuming that I could upload trailers to my website without any legal issues?
Thx

Im on the lookout for a motherboard that supports the new HybridPower technology. The first boards out are 780a and 730a - but both these boards are for amd cpus.
Does anyone know if there will be hybrid power boards out with Intel sockets anytime soon?

Ive been wating for these hybrid power boardcs to hit the market for about 6 months - but now it seems that they only come with AM2+ or AM2 sockets? Have i missed something? I was hoping to throw a E8400 on it, but that wont be possible it seems :/

Hi
I've been wating for a couple of years for a purchase of a big screen and it seems now is a good time to buy. My biggest concern in the past has been response-time - i dont want any lag and many monitors that has been sold the last couple of years has had issues, but now it seems most...
Hi
Im planning to build a new system once hybrid SLI hits the streets. Running with a passive GFX card and a 90W TDP CPU (or such) should result in a 130-150W idle power consumption (or something like that) so I'd like a PSU that has around 80% effeciency at those 150W... The PC Power &...
...can anyone see why we shouldn't see these on the market? I'm w8ing for a good fast 30" monitor and it seems to me that the 120Hz tech will bring LCD tech right up there with plasma (I've read a bunch of threads and articles)....
can we expect to see this monitors soon? - Tv's with 120Hz...

from what ive read on hdcp it seems that the HDCP-protection is sort of a communication encryption between - lets say a DVD player and a tv... so what about a .avi file ripped from a cd with hdcp protection? can the file be played on a monitor that isnt hdcp compliant?
thx :D
hi - help me out here :D
the reason:
im planning to buy a 30"'er so i've been trying to figure what system ill need to run the machine. since i dont have a big bundle of cash i'll be aiming for a system that can run most games in 1920x1200 - not 2560x1600....
so i was thinking:

my system:
CPU: A64 3200+ (socket 939) - MB: A8N-SLI Deluxe - RAM: 2x512MB DDR PC3200 - GFX: Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT - HD: WD 500 GB - PSU: Chill Innovation 400W
I dont game all that much - but i need a gfx card that can handle the 2560x1600 resolution cause im going to buy a 30" monitor...
Will such a monitor ever hit the market?
I'd much prefer this native res over 2560x1600 - cause text just gets too small in 2560x1600 - but will such a monitor ever hit the market? Currently the largest 1920x1200 monitor to hit the market is (as far as I know) a 28" model viewsonic is...
