  • 2) I see your using g.skill rip jaws. I was debating on going with either corsair or g.skill.The main 2600 8gb set was not listed on the z68 hardware compatibility list, although on g.skills site it says they work with the z68. Have you had any trouble using them and overclocking with them? Do they show up fine with XMP (mobo detection) and you are able to use tpm and oc without issues?

XMP works perfectly with this ram. What's TPM?

    3. I love your crucual m4 choice. in my opinion, thats the only reliable ssd right now. Do you use it as a boot drive, and if so, have you had any issues? I have not seen any firmware updates on that model yet so i am thinking its strong. does it get along with the z68 chipset?

M4 is my boot drive. There was the issue where it hangs occasionally, but there's a registry fix. google for it. if you can't find it let me know.
    1) When you are OC your 2600k, does the H60 keep it cool enough, or do you recommend I go with the hyper 212? Sandy bridge puts out less heat, but since you actually pull it off, I wanted to ask you for your opinion.

Depends on how much you're looking to OC it. I dialed mine back to 4.5ghz and it's topping out around 72c at 1.32V. This is acceptable for me. 4.6 or 4.7 was pushing up in the high 70s, low 80s which I don't want to do. Also, my case is kinda crappy for airflow. If you look at my earlier posts on the PC-V600, you'll see what I mean. You will get lower temps with a better fan and better airflow.

one thing to point out is that I paid $46 for the H60 after rebate, so price performance, I'm very happy. But if you're paying closer to $70, then I'd definitely look at the H80 or the H100.
(CL8) F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM - yes, those are what I'm running. looking at your other questions now
more specifically, here is the g.skill i was looking at getting. is this the same as you? (CL8) F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM

Your rig is exactly what I am trying to do, and wanted to ask questions if you had a second.

I am litterly trying to copy it 100%. My questions are below, please answer if you have a moment as the new egg deals end today (sunday).
