F&f is pretty hard to claw back, but I doubt it's impossible. (credit card fraud maybe?)
I'd be leary like you are, but I'd just cover all my bases. Pictures, Google map the address before shipping. Maybe even zillow it to make sure it's not a for sale property

scam
The house is there, no sale listings. Phone provided. Waiting for payment, then moving payment to bank, then paying a bill. Hope the hell it isn't a scam.

Fingers still crossed. I got a PPal F&F payment, and shipped the card. Sent the cash to my bank.

So far, so good. PPal has accepted the funds, let me transfer them to my bank. The real issue is that I want to be able to trust people and if you don't give trust you won't get trust. Yes I may get burned at some point but it seems better than putting up my middle finger to anyone that wants it. P.S. I called the local PO, verified the address, and the postmaster says he knows the guy and he ships and receives all the time.
I think (hope) PPal would contest it.

Friends and family payments have no protection for the buyer or the seller. They're meant for friends and family.
