I have the same drive but in 2tb. Bought it before all the prices started going up on ssd's. Using it and another 2tb to backup all my humble, fanatical and storybook stuff since losing all previous stuff on a failing drive which i had no backup. :(:(:(
 
I have three old laptops with these drives, I was going to dump them all for fifty bucks, I had no idea these were actually worth much. Thanks for the post.
