Honestly I couldn't stand franklin or any of the parts of the story where I played him. Still overall really enjoyed the game. I really just wanted to only play Trevor for the most part though.
I think if I hated at least 1 of them in 5, I would've been not interested in playing the rest. My doubt comes from how the trailers & gameplay vids portrayed the duo dynamic & the wording about the relationship from R*.
That's fair. My tin hat also is wondering if R* is rage baiting with leaked info just to get people talking about it. They put a lot of effort into their games so I am being hopeful. I do hope there is a lot of likable characters. And I know it won't all be for everyone but a good overall likability or at least relatability too. I would have traded franklin for lamar for a main character for me haha.
I was worried about the same thing a month ago. After seeing the leaked vids and the extended look eased alot of my concerns. The only thing thats not known really is the story. So im back on board. There are quite a few in here continually shitting on the game for the sake of being a troll/threadshitter. I havent bought the game yet cause preordering in advanced is pointless. Ill be buying the game hours before the game drops to get it preloaded and then just playing the game and enjoying it.
The woke rulebook says trans people must be played by trans actors, so if that turned out to be the case there'd be hell to pay from both sides

I don’t really have an issue with a girl boss if it has been written well like Ripley in the Alien franchise or Sarah Connor in T2 with faults and flaws and depth to the character.

It 100% is about discussion, but its to a point of not being about discussion and just shitting on it to try and turn as many as possible against it. If were talking about reasons and stuff that like its nice, but at a point it goes beyond that.

Lamar was fucking hilarious! At first I thought he was an assclown but by the end of the game he always had me rollin'! I appreciated his presence in the game!
