Linux gaming thread, what games are you currently playing?

Gaming HUDs can be stretched in UW, which is why I said that before. Every single 16:9 game I've ever played has been center on my SUW.

The best of both worlds is an UW on the left arm and a 16:9 on the right arm. I have a 34" UW and a 27" 16:9; they're the same height so they look good together and gives the more immersive gaming of an UW with the extra separated space of the 2nd monitor for Discord/Youtube/Steam/etc.

When gaming on an UW if the game doesn't look right when stretched across the entire screen you can just run it at a standard resolution; e.g. 2560x1440 works perfectly on a 1440p UW.
 
I'm loving Schrodinger's Cat Burglar. Great price right now. For fans of the Portal games.

Also playing Supraworld (early access). The cat is more fun though.
 
Lots of Binding of Isaac (with all DLC) lately. Very fun. Slowly working through more difficult unlocks

This game can be very fussy with controller support on Linux (I think it has a native client?) but using Proton 9.x, as others online have mentioned helped them, was able to get it working fine
 
Beyond: Two Souls
I didn't expect this to hook me, but yeah, the game is interesting. I had to get used to the reaction time a bit, because the action icons don't have to be activated as soon as they appear.

Playing Death Stranding 2, got it on the Steam Summer Sale right after finishing Death Stranding 1...

Seems pretty common for any game with a Linux port. I usually skip the native Linux games and run the Windows versions through Proton because the Windows executables are just about always newer and more stable.
 
protondb.com & pcgamingwiki.com are very useful with figuring out ways to make games run better in Linux

I know there's others, but those are the main 2 I use for research.

yeah protonDB is definitely helpful for sure, and its mostly what i used, but yeah sometimes someone is using like 5 different launch arguments and its not clear which one, if any, is making a difference.
