Tempted to get Doom: The Dark Ages for $20 on Fanatical or $23 on Steam. - https://isthereanydeal.com/game/doom-the-dark-ages/info/

Been interested in this game, as it has an Alien Isolation vibe to it and has good reviews.

And also Silent Hill F ($35 on Steam, $26 on Fanatical) mostly just because I'm about to beat SH2 remake along with my best friend and he's about to play through F as well now so wanted to experience it alongside him.

Saw Dead Space remake for $6. I have it on PS5 and beat it a few times and Platinum'd it on there and unlocked everything on it. That's a no-brainer if you liked the orginal or this genre at all.

Uncharted 4 Collection for $14 or $16.50 on Gamebillit or Steam respectively. One of my favorite games that are well worth it.

Deciding between Ys IX or Trails Ch1. I see Lunar Collection is on sale, but I'm hoping it'll go even lower than $45 CAD at some point.

I picked up:

Gears of War: Reloaded $19.99
Monster Hunter: World $7.79
Monster Hunter: Rise $7.99
Final Fantasy Remake: Intergrade $13.99
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow $2.49

They all seemed like good deals at their prices (minus maybe Gears of War - I just wanted to stop using the old Games for Windows version) 🤷‍♂️

Not seeing much that interests me sadly. A couple of games that are basically the same sale prices they were off and on the past 3-4 months.

I've only got Doom The Dark Ages for $20 so far. I'll play it after I'm done with the Silent Hill 2 remake (which I have loved so far since I forgot that whole story from the original).

I've tested performance on it so far and don't think I'll be playing with Path Tracing enable at least. I think I was able to get around 60FPS with balanced DLSS and maxed settings, then can enable MFG from there as well. But think I'd rather just have performance near my 240hz refresh rate without MFG and quality DLSS.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is $4.79. Might pick it up but will probably never play those games again. :ROFLMAO:

It drops to this occasionally. Was an absolute steal to me:

It was at $4.79 last week for something and I picked it up then. Still have to deal with the EA login stub program but it's better than dealing with the full EA client as I've had the game for a few years under that.

I mucked around with DTDA on a 5090 at 4k. Didn't think path tracing was worth it. It just doesn't look that much better and it clobbers your fps. It's completely different from that other ID Tech Engine game that has PT - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. That one looks a lot better with PT on, plus it's a slow paced game so it's just fine to run it at 60fps base and kick on frame gen if you want it to look smoother. IMHO DTDA goes in the same category as Borderlands 4 - max settings aren't worth it even on a 5090. BL4 on Badass runs like path tracing, but all you get for it is slightly sharper. Screw that, gimme more FPS.

I'd call that a good deal if I hadn't bought it and played through it a couple years ago. Still some damned good games for not much. A little dated, but they still look ok with the updates.

I'd say it is a great deal. I'd like to get it, and maybe play a bit of the 1st game as that has the biggest improvements. But realistically I doubt I'll ever go through the trilogy again. Just too many new games to play, and I've already played the original games 3-4 times. Except the 3rd, only did two play through of that.

Both good choices. Trails serise is rough to get into. Its 12 games if 50-80 hours deep at this point. Last few have burnt me out and haven't beaten Into the Horizon. I was able to get through chapter 1 remake stick easily.

I've been playing it in backwards order. Fired it up to play through 3 and then decided to play 2 and now I'm playing 1. I remember quite well what the game looked like originally and the graphical upgrades for original ME1 and Legendary ME1 are huge. I also have to admit that even on my low end HDR monitor that the HDR definitely looks better than SDR.

I'd like to buy some of the games on sale however I'm waiting on buying a OLED monitor before I do so. Also this...
I put 2 games (Routine and Into the Dead) in my cart, but saw that pic and almost spit a mouthful of Mt. Dew onto my keyboard. Perfect timing to save me a few bux. :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I'm pretty much done buying games that only slightly interest me with the expectation that I'll still play and finish it. I think I really need to play a demo before buying too.

I mean replace "unfinished game" with "game never even installed" and thats me in a nut shell too

LOL, I give all games I buy a try but some I stopped playing beyond a few levels. Some that are in my unfinished library of shame via STEAM and DVD purchases. Crazy list I know... 🥸

Mass Effect
Bioshock
Dead Space remake
Spider-Man remastered
God of War
Star Wars: Squadrons
Sekiro
