Lol, they made Jean Grey so ugly. Good sign for the game /s. To top it off, Sony stopped pc ports.

They clearly didn't about face after sbi was called out for ruining games.
They made Mary Jane ugly and in Spider-Man 2, I'm not surprised.

If the hotness of Jean Grey is how you are rating a WOLVERINE game then I'm afraid there isn't much to discuss. Maybe this is packed full of woke BS that the trailer just isn't showing yet but so far it looks like a great, fast paced action game with the BRUTAL combat that I'd expect of Wolverine going apeshit on a pack of A'holes.

Guessing one of the 20 thousand ratings groups they have to get past to sell worldwide would have found that 1 step too far. I agree with you though. Go full brutal dark mode killing machine, 100% aimed at the middle aged adults who grew up on Wolverine comics and may or may not have 3 boxes of sealed originals stored in rubbermaid boxes down in the first floor closet by the front door. Hypothetically speaking of course. That guy would be a total dork.

Its probably not shown in the trailer, to make it under the wire on some sort of ratings issues for the stream.
Dismemberment is in the game, and had a toggle. Along with Blood, etc.
I heard there was a toggle for blood and gore but is there one for dismemberment?

My post was about how they seemingly have to insert Debra Wilson into every game. Worse in this game is she is portraying Callisto.
I never knew this woman's name. Nor did I know she was in the game. I guess we'll have to see. Thank you for some edumacation.

That's precisely what I'm worried about, obviously. It's a bad sign that they're uglifying women (usually done by people with certain politics), and they are disregarding the source material.

Hope they can refine the blood effect a bit, I found it distracting how it would magically fade away.
Even if Wolvie gave a quick shake to remove blood would be less jarring.

You are dating yourself. For 80% of the people that will play this game this is the source material for Jean Grey. I've got stacks of old school wolverine comics from 30+ years ago still and I never really viewed Jean Grey as hot, Rogue on the other hand....
If Logan starts asking people their pronouns then I'll be worried, but so far so good.

Unless the woke agenda content is completely out of hand (I am expecting some, not realistic to expect otherwise at this point) this will be the first console game I've bought in years and likely the last I'll buy this generation.
The whole thing looks like a comic book to me so I don't mind the excessive blood and it'll be less jaring when body parts are flying. The blood disappearing on wolverine himself I think is just a byproduct of the medium. If it didn't disappear you'd just be playing a red blob the whole game. Yeah it would be cool if it dripped off him overtime or was flung off while jumping, rolling etc... etc... but it's really a non issue for me. What I did like was the damage model on Wolverine and the fact that the suit didn't mend itself right away when he healed. Again, it's going to have to mend at some point or you'd just be running around as an angry naked Canadian covered in blood for 90% of the game.

You're actually dating yourself. Jean Grey has been in comics both current (i.e. This decade) and old where she is depicted as beautiful. The creators of this game show her to be a meth dealer using her own supply. I can't quite figure out why........
. It's the same thing that's happening in lots of western games now though. What could it possibly be?!stashinsome

I'll pick it up if the Reviews are Decent I have vacation for two whole weeks early October.
this looks pretty good...only issue is that I needed to enable subtitles to understand some of the dialogue
the yellow and black controller and PS5 look really nice...

If I hadn't just bought a PS5 controller for PC use I would seriously consider getting that one. I might grab the face plates if I can find them. (I'm a big Wolverine fan of the 80's-00's comics but I have very low expectations for this game's interpretation of the X-Men universe.)

Yes but I'm thinking about buying a PS5 Pro...I would have liked to purchase a custom Wolverine PS5 Pro bundle but it seems it's only available with the base PS5...with the Pro the only option is to buy the custom face plates

that would be the better move...I think the cool Wolverine custom design threw me off balance...plus the fact that Sony has abandoned the PC market...will the custom Wolverine face plate work on the PS6?
No, but you can bet Wolverine will work on it and probably be patched to run with higher settings. But if you have spare money to burn and like the look of it I can’t disagree. If I get a PS6 it’ll be only if there are good exclusives and I can find a good trade deal for my pro. Although now I think of it I’ll probably keep the pro since it’ll be the last Sony console to still run discs. (Unless Sony release a usb accessory.)
