SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT for $769.

Comes with the following 256GB SSD for free. Also comes with Crimson Desert PC game.

Lowest price for this GPU was around $650 in December. Prices last summer were around $770-800. So while not a really great deal, it isn't awful all things considered with current market prices. The PULSE model is a higher end model if I am not mistaken as well.

I believe pulse is actually the lowest end variant they offer? Unless I'm mistaken.

Looks like you're right. Nitro+ is the higher end model, same deal, $30 more. Though from what I recall the Pulse model still has decent build quality, TechPowerUp has a good review and tear down. They seem to imply it runs cool.
seem to imply? They always do two pages of temp and noise testing. Where they give you the temps and noise at full game load, with the default fan curve. As well as a noise normalized comparison, which helps us understand the relative effectiveness of the heatsink and fans.

And something which is interesting about their noise level for the "normalized" test. Is that its actually a sort of medium/not quiet noise level. So, it can actually mean some GPUs run faster than their default fan curve ever gets, to meet that normalized noise level. And this 9070 XT is one of those cards.

I have a pulse and a nitro version of this card, with no issues from either. Temps have been fantastic on both. For $30 I think the nitro is worth the upgrade regardless of connector fears.

Yeah, definitely. The connector thing is way overblown and sensationalized by the tech tubers anyway.

I agree, but still find it odd that they went that route.
I think they did it because of the connectors small size. The power cable is completely hidden on this card and there just isn't enough room for multiple 8 pins.
