Flash LSI SAS 9201-16i HBA

So I have a LSI SAS 9201-16i HBA card that has FW 19.00.00.00 and I want to flash it to 20.00.07.00.
I've downloaded 9201_16i_Package_P20_IT_Firmware_BIOS_for_MSDOS_Windows.zip and the readme file says

The sas2flash only flashes the card to FW 20.00.00.00? I've read that FW 20.00.00.00 to 20.00.04.00 is very buggy.
As I see it I need to use HBA_9201_16i_IT\9201-16i_it.bin to flash it to 20.00.07.00 but I have no clue how to flash it with a .bin file with Windows.

Also how do I update the BIOS (mptsas2.rom)?

There is no documentation within the file howto do this, all help is appreciated
 
Some brands have an option to boot to EFI shell right from the bios. But that's how I had to flash my LSI card also.
 
EOL doesn't mean much, with the P20 firmware it should be able to handle any current and future HDD size.
I have many H310 which are SAS2008 based controllers just like the 9201-16i, I'm using 8TB drives currently have connected up to a 12TB so far but 14/16 is no different.
 
Thank you Spartacus09, I have FW 19.00.00.00 atm, been reading that P20 is very buggy, so I might try with P19 and see if it works.
Do you know if FW 20.00.07.00 is stable?

Can you please supply a source for the 9201-16i P20 firmware as I have not been able to locate it on the Broadcom website?
