Machine came in at 720 for the following specs

i5 7300
8GB ram
256GB SSD (NVME PCI-E)
Nvidia 1060 Max-Q
1080p IPS

I had a extra 1 TB Inland PCI-E NVME SSD so swapped in it was
16GB $60 Patriot DDR4
120hz Chei Mei panel $68 p/n N156HHE-GA1

This thing a good bang for the buck and even with the i5, it still games extremely well without throttling and I am very happy with this purchase.

only 1 downside... 56Wh battery

benchmarks (max settings)

Ultra Street Fighter 4 242.668
Batman Arkham City 120 average
Batman Arkham Origins 111 average
Batman Arkham Knight 45 average
Dirt 3 average 174.3
Tomb Raider locked at 60
Gears of war 4 locked at 60

The battery life is not terrible, I get 5+ hours on mine without any underclocking etc. The Chi Mei is a good panel but for those who are looking at the Dell 7577/G3/5/7 there is also a BOE 144hz display that is compatible. The color is a bit better than the Chi Mei though the latency (at least spec-wise) is a bit worse.

Yeah it will last 5ish hours until you play a game... then maybe you get 40-60mins

To be fair, no laptop will get your much battery life gaming. I had the Alienware M15 with the larger battery very briefly and that got like maybe 70mins gaming.

dell had a 73Wh battery in the previous version... would have been nice to keep it... love the machine so far....
