I just OC'd my 5930k, I've read a lot of thread, but none with a definitive answer some say as long as you stay below 95c that its fine.

I was able to get 4.4ghz at 1.19v, with an average temperature of 69c and 83c max.

My specs

Windows 10
i7-5930k
32gb DDR4 2400
Nvidia Titan XP

Any input will be appreciated

Official max temp is 100c

Intel's official NUC product with Broadwell in it, hits the high 90's often.

what are you using to test the temps?

Prime 95 is fun, but not realistic, for temps. Prime95 better use is stability testing.

Encode a video in handbrake or something, for a realistic, full load test for temps.

I left the intel ETU running overnight about 8 hours, max temperature was 83c and average of 69c. No crashes stable at 1.19v.
