I have a PC with X9SRH-7TF motherboard that i don't reboot very often. (a few times a year at most)

Yesterday i did it and the boot is now stuck on the "LSI Corporation MPT2 boot ROM successfully installed!" message.
(The mobo has some LSI 2308 controller connected to the drives)

I tried waiting, restarting (the PC is not frozen, i can CTRL-ALT-DEL and reboot again).
I can't enter the BIOS because it's a step after the error i have.

The boot SSD and others HDDs are correctly recognized, i can go into LSI's menu with CTRL-C but there's not much to do and everything appear to be normal.

What happen? how can i fix it?

If you don't need to boot from drives attached the the LSI controller, there is a way to reflash them with no boot rom image installed to get in the way. IMO this is the best configuration choice when using them as plain HBA controllers anyways.
