Warm: HP 32" Gaming 1440p FreeSync 75Hz HDR 600 Monitor $295 Amazon

Yup, you just need to make a custom profile. In fact, all FreeSyncs can be used with nVidia cards. You guys can further research this via the Amazon Q&A on whatever FreeSync monitor, make and model. It's always right there in the answers that these can be used with nVidia cards.

I have the HP Omen equivalent and love it, need to pick up a 2nd later this year or when this one drops for BF.

^^ I've got 4 of the Omen's.. 3 on my rig and one for the wife.. no complaints whatsoever.

Got it for this price almost two years ago. I LOVE this display.
Lots of room for 4 windows, one in each corner
Freesync works great with AMD cards.

Highly recommend.
I have no idea why people are liking your comment since this monitor did not even exist 2 years ago. It was not even released until May of this year.

They're probably thinking of the 1440p 75 Hz HP Omen 32, which was on sale for as low as $225 a few times. I got one, too.

It looks to me like they're pretty much the same monitor.

I do not see how people can tolerate a VA panel for gaming. I have tried two different VA monitors for my gaming pc and I also tried three different VA TVs for my PS4 pro and they all have the same issue when panning around slowly.

I even made this video which is actually of the version of the HP without HDR that people keep referring too. You can see how the lighter parts of the fence turn almost black when panning. Again this has been my experience on EVERY VA panel TV or monitor I have used.

I've never noticed anything like that with my VA-panel HP Omen 32. Don't know if it's there or not, but I've never noticed it. I kind of think I would have, though, if it were there.

It is there whether you picked up on it or not. I actually first noticed it years ago while playing on a VA TV with an Xbox. At the time I had no clue that VA was the issue. A couple years later and I start looking for a new TV for my gaming room and see the same crap on a couple different VA TVs when panning around in Uncharted 4. It did not do that on any of the IPS panels we had in the house or any of the IPS panels I have tried. Well I tried the 32 inch HP 1440p 75 hz monitor on my PC and sure enough the same exact issue when panning around. I thought surely that could not be possible on a gaming monitor and tried another one and of course the same thing. It is 100% a VA issue but most people are oblivious to it.

Well, I saw this mentioned previously, and so I checked it out in Witcher 3 with chain-mail armour on Geralt and cross-cross patterns in shop window designs. But, I didn't see any of what's in the video you posted.

You could get the screen with washed out blacks, poor contrast, poor color depth and small rgb gamut or ips with slow response times.

Each tech has it's strengths and weaknesses. But the above monitor looks like it needs strobbing and overdrive on.

You might be also seeing the effects of predictive anti alaising or the game engine itself. Try turning the details down and as off and see what happens.

It has nothing to do with the game or the settings in the game. Again it happens on every VA panel whether it's a TV or a monitor and it happens on console and PC games. Of course it's more noticeable on certain scenes but it's still there pretty much all the time when you pan around as you can see a little shift from light to dark.

That doesn't make sense because IPS is way slower than VA. Slower refresh rate with strobbing on the IPS maybe?

I have no idea what the issue is that causes it but again it is on every single VA panel I have used. When I first started seeing it I didn't even know it had anything to do with the type of panel. I had actually seen other people post videos before thinking something was wrong with their game console and all the replies were talking about changing settings on the TV because most people are so oblivious to this issue that they don't even know it is the actual VA panel itself.

Damn, back up to $150 additional dollars at $450. Hope some of you got in on this.

Microcenter has a LG 32" 144hz for $350 .... great deal, awesome monitor. I own it. I'm gonna make a post here shortly.
