The purpose of this Mod is to showcase the GPU
This styling and build quality of this classic 2007 case still holds up suprisingly well:

First Mod was to source and purchase the OEM side window. Being out of production for about a decade made this INCREDIBLY difficult.... At this point, it's probably easier to modify the original side panel and add a window yourself. But, I ended up getting very lucky in finding one.

Now for the location of the Vertical GPU mod:
That dust filter's spot will do nicely. It will allow plenty of room without interfering with the standard expansion slots.
But before I hack into it, I'll need a donor case to source a bracket from:
You can see my pencil lines sketching out where the cut will go.
Here it is liberated from it's donor:
I'll clean up the edges a bit etc.
Test Fitting it into place with and without a GPU to get an idea of fit:
and
That mesh on the case get's dremeled out of course. Then the bracket can be drilled and riveted into place:
Almost done!! But, I'll need a PCIe riser cable. I got this one off of Amazon for about $26:
GPU goes in:
And Lastly, the case cover is put back on:

Overall, it was a fairly straightforward mod, But one that was both in-expensive and worthwhile.
