If you've pre-ordered, Microcenter has 6 cards in the store since yesterday. 4 gigabyte cards, Windforce OC and 2 MSI Gaming Trio's. 2 of them are mine. Not sure who else has the other 4. They won't release them until 10am, store opening, tomorrow the 27th.

Guy told me one card was cancelled or going to be cancelled and as far as my 2nd Gigabyte card, I might not pick that up tomorrow as well. So there could be 2 free cards tomorrow for any of you guys in the Kansas City area who are wanting one.

I'll sure as hell be there tomorrow morning right at 10am to get one of them.

There is a rumor that all the Microcenter stores will have a few RTX 2080 Ti FE's in stock on the 27th as well but that those are first come first serve. However, the guy I spoke with didn't mention this. I read that on Reddit. Sounds very plausible.

Show up lets get some breakfast and talk shop. Haha. I'll be there with my friend.

Just wish my MC wasn't in a super high sales tax area. Oh well, I can wait for NV to ship.

To steal the cards? or to beat his ass for letting nvidia know that the market will bear their absurd pricing?

I will likely get 2 years of use before upgrading again. The way I look at it, the card only costs me roughly $1.65 a day. At roughly 4 hours of use a day the card only costs me .41 cents an hour. ...I can afford $1.65 a day.

Mine gets delivered Oct 12th.

Did 4.5 years on my 290x, I like getting my money worth. Best part was selling my two cards during the mining craze and getting a 1080 and having change left over.

I'm glad both MCs near me are OOS - otherwise I might be tempted to do something stupid.

If you sold a card don’t forget to factor that in. It’s a super cheap hobby no matter which way you slice it.

I don't know if it will continue, but I went years without selling stuff.. finally got back to that. It was amazing how much I recouped for CPU's and GPU's I was no longer using.

I cancelled both my Ti pre-orders from Nvidia that I placed on 8/20. I went to Microcenter this morning and got one of two EVGA Ti XC Ultras. They had like 5 that were held, and 5 Zotac cards. All were purchased while I was there.

Picked up my MSI Gaming X Trio 2080 ti today at the Kansas City Microcenter. Buddy bought my second pre-order, a Gigabyte 2080 Ti Windforce. They ended up getting in like 11 pre-orders they told us. Expect more soonish.

Man I'd consider one of EVGA models of something if they weren't so damn big.

Yeah my MSI Gaming X Trio is the biggest card I've ever installed. Massive. There is even a metal spine / brace but I decided not to install it since I do not know what good it would do. It just floats above it? Perhaps I needed to slide it on somehow.

I love that MC in KC..... (sigh)

I need to go by there for my new ryzen build, but will stick with a1080ti. Gonna skip this RTX generation.
Congrats on the new card though
