Fans of the long-running Assassin’s Creed series can get an early peek at the franchise’s next installment courtesy of GamePro.de, which uploaded screenshots to their servers early. According to a leaked listing on the PS Store, this one will revolve around an outcast mercenary who ultimately becomes a legendary Spartan hero.

Ubisoft is expected to officially reveal Assassin’s Creed Odyssey during its E3 2018 press conference on June 11 at 1:00 p.m. PT / 4:00 p.m ET. However, it is also possible it will debut earlier at Microsoft’s press conference later today.

Looks a lot like Origins, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The only AC game I liked more than Origins was Black Flag. That said, I hope they find a way to make this feel unique. Based on the map, looks like they are bringing back naval combat and exploration, which is awesome. The naval stuff in Origins was clearly an afterthought and served no purpose in the game.

I don't know, say what you will but I thought Origins was too...weird. Controllable arrows, some magic bird, too action oriented. Just didn't sit well with me having just played AC Unity before it. Too much going on, too much to manage.

See this new one being, basically, DLC to Origins makes me worried. Meh. What ever.

These were pretty much my only grievances with Origins. I would have preferred a slightly more realistic, slower paced game. I really didn't like how heavily the game relied on the eagle, and I was disappointed to see that has returned. Having to use the bird to find every objective was annoying, and the enemy targeting made things too easy.

Drones had their place in GR:W, but not Assassins Creed.

It's funny you say this because it was my exact thought the first time I saw the drone...I mean "bird"...in Origins. I was like "just because it worked for a modern military shooter doesn't mean it HAS to in a ancient Egyptian assassins game." Plus, and I know this game teeters on the supernatural and shit...but GODDAMMIT IT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE!!! Sorry.

looks like donald trump jr and melania.

Origins gameplay is way more refined when compared to Unity's buggy, clunky and jumpy borefest.

Gah! It's torture when you have headlines like this and don't have a hosted picture of said thumbnail to just peek at it! Fine.. I'll go to gematsu.com and check it out.
