Steam Sharing Question

I've used Steam for many years, but only as a method of getting games for myself. Recently, I gave me nephews my gaming tower after building a new tower for myself. They each have a Steam account on this new machine.

Is there anyway to share games between users/libraries? What about sending them a game I no longer want or play? I've been able to buy games for them through Steam, but I'm asking about games already purchased.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link. That answers some of my questions, but it does state there could be an issue if they don't live in the same location (which I read as, on the same local network). I guess it can't hurt to try.

I just set this up for a gaming box I'm putting together for my nephew. You need to login to his computer at least once to set up "family mode" I haven't sent him the computer yet so haven't tested it on another network but I can put one the VPN on and try it. Once setup.. I was logged into his account on his pc.. I could see his games and mine right below them to install (on his pc.)

no it doesn't matter, you can be in different countries.

i think only one person can play a steam account at once.

I share my account games with my son and play at the same time. You just can't play the same game when sharing. Just make sure that once you have setup sharing on the remote pc, you logout of that pc and have your family or friend login to there account.
