[HOT?] Spider-Man: Homecoming UHD -- $9.99

These 4K movie DL are always extremely low bitrate and meh audio. Be better to buy the 1080p BluRay for 5$ more.. Will look better and have way better audio.

Movie was also shot at 2.8K so there is zero 4K detail. Combined with the low bitrate it will look even worse.

Well, the REDs and CineAltas can do 4K and beyond, but I agree, a ton of movies are shot on Alexas these days, and those are only 2.8K native.
Streaming 4K is mediocre at best though; there is only so much you can do with 25Mbps when Blu-Rays are running 100-400 Mbps depending on the resolution.

It's not apples-to-apples though. iTunes at least uses h.265 to stream UHD movies. They look pretty good. Blu-Ray is limited to MPEG2, h.264, or VC-1. Granted, you're not going to beat an UltraHD disc by streaming anytime soon, but it's not as bad as the numbers make it out to be.

And I don't believe the 100-400mpbs figures are anywhere near accurate.

hey all 4k blu-rays come with the regular blu-ray in the case. So there is no point in buying just the blu-ray. Also the 4k blu-ray has HDR and i think it looks fine. I got this for $9.99 at BB during black friday and it is a good spiderman movie.

Blu Ray 1080p is 36 Mbps.
Blu Ray 4k is 100-128 Mbps.

The 4k streaming bandwidth is less than what you get on the disc, but it's not all that bad.

I don't know what kind of blu-ray runs at 400Mbps when current triple-layer blu-ray UHD discs max out at around 100Mbps. Though the spec calls out a max of 125Mbps, I'm not aware of any movies with bitrates that high.
