Hi all-

I have an XFX XTR 650 PSU (Seasonic Built), and I'm looking to replace the stock cables.

Who makes the best REPLACEMENT (not extension) custom sleeved cables?

I have zero experience with such so I figured i'd ask the good people here.

Thanks!

I'm also interested in this. The reference I see often is to CableMod and I'm going to inquire about how customer we can get - i.e. types and direction of the connectors.

Are there any persons on [H] who take requests for custom cabling?

SvenBent - do you have any good tutorial sites for everything you'd need to get started? I feel like getting all the tools and parts may be expensive to start out.

I used some cablemod cables for my build. Pretty smooth experience.

Actually I bought crimping pliers, crimps, paracord etc. for DIY but I chickened out as the pin-out was scary.
I guess if you're thorough and practice first it's fine, but in retrospect it was reasonably similar in price for either DIY or cablemod.

I know both some manufactures like Corsair and some custom mod shops like Performance-PCs offer custom sleeve replacement PSU cables. Afraid I don't l know which offers the best quality/color features when it comes to pre-made. If you wanted to do them yourself, I've heard this is the site from which to acquire the hardware to do so - MOD-ONE - MDPC-X PC Cable Sleeving and PC Modification Supplies - It is run by a fellow who used to work at CaseLabs I think (could be wrong about this) and it offers MDPC-X sleeving supplies. While I've not had the chance to use them myself, I hear many other users praising their products' high quality and reasonable pricing. Maybe its worth a look?

Custom sleeved cables will come at a cost. A lot of well known sleevers out there charge a lot, but the quality is there. I do professional sleeving, but I don't have the time to do for customers so I usually stick to family and friends. My reccomendation would be to check out UPC(Ultimate Personal Computers). Adam is by far one of the best sleevers I know and has done cable sets for a lot of feature builds out there.
