Man thats impressive. I think you hit silicone jackpot. Its showing only 1.062v at that speed. Did you boost voltage at all?

My card seems to pretty well tap out above 2050. That is basically using similar settings to the default oc mode. I think with lots of effort I might squeeze it closer to 2075 but it artifacts quickly. Dissapointing but that stock oc isnt bad. I'm wondering if I should make sure hsf has good contact, I did notice slight crackling sounds (like plastic bending a little)when I installed it.
Unfortunately after about two months of use, my Gigabyte Xtreme is starting to exhibit some significant artifacting even at 65C and stock speeds (not even the Gigabyte OC Mode - that is even worse). On Eco mode it seems fine but I didn't buy an "Xtreme" card to run 100+ MHz under stock.
I was running it at +25 over OC mode on the GPU and +75 on the RAM for a long time...just recently it has started artifacting and crashing VR games even turned down to stock speeds.
Heaven benchmark reports it's running between 2050 and 2088 MHz on the GPU, 5120 MHz on the VRAM.
Tried reseating the card (no sag at all noticed - great build quality and backplate on this card) - no change. Tried rolling back to previous nVidia drivers - no change.
Might be time for an RMA. I've contacted Gigabyte support, they've been reasonably responsive in the past.
I could try pulling the HSF to see about reapplying thermal paste, but the temps are not high so I don't think it's that. Just seems to be generally unstable.
Might be the newer drivers.. if not yeah rma.

Hi again MavericK. I have known PSU's to be responsible for the problems you are having but it's extremely rare. One thing I would try before you RMA is to try another PSU. Do you have access to another computer to try the graphics card in? if the card is also giving the same problems in another computer then you know for a fact that the problem is a faulty graphics card. Believe it or not even a faulty Northbridge chipset on the motherboard can also give you the same problems and even memory but these are also very very rare. If you have a local computer shop, they may try the card for you in one of their setups free of charge, I myself have done this in the past. I can assure you that the driver won't be responsible especially as I also have the very latest driver installed and report no problems. The driver being responsible is even rarer than the other known issues that can cause your problem. I would say though that I am 98% certain that your graphics card is responsible/faulty.
