I have a feeling Cortana won't be giving it up until he puts a *virtual* ring on her finger.

And could you imagine MC's life after the honeymoon phase is over? She'd literally be a part of him; Constantly nagging him to get chores done around the house, always there when he's trying to play poker with his bros, she'd know if he was looking at other women (just appreciating the view) and the list goes on.

Throw AI children into the mix - the MC would be on a road to disaster.
 
Given from the 10 chapters I have played, he is already on a road to disaster. The campaign is so shit.
 
I want to discuss the campaign but it's probably still a little too early to discuss the "plot" in depth (I'm too lazy to use spoiler tags), but I really think they did irreparable damage to the mythology in this one. I am genuinely curious as to how the fuck anyone could write a story that involves such a drastic change to a staple character but make absolutely no effort in making it compelling or even slightly believable.

IM going to assume that you didnt like the story. Im only about halfway through the campaign. but im liking it so far. Its only so much of "chief do this, destroy this, save the fucking galaxy" i can tolerate. With this change of pace, it make the story more interesting. Also they finally put the damn missing Spartan II's in the game who everyone was looking for from the books.
I dont know how the story ends since im only halfway through, but this is a good segway for Locke to get his own spin-off, right?

SWAT seems to be the MP mode for me. It's the only game mode where I don't feel like choking someone because I usually know exactly how and why I died. I actually think Warzone is retarded; it seems like there is way too much shit going on.

SP already looks like shit, they would have to sacrifice their 30fps to get splitscreen working and I don't think thats something that's easily doable without going back to original code.

There's a 343i interview where they mentioned split screen would not happen with Halo5, but future entries might see the option return. I don't have the link now (currently at work) but I'll edit it in later once I find it (and I'm not too lazy).
 
They'll bring it back when the Xbox is dead and the franchise will be moved to the PC. They shot themselves in the foot by making the game 60 FPS.

The game was ruined from day 1 with the campaign story they went with. **SPOILER** They should've just closed the chapter on Cortana with Halo 4.
 
They ruined Halo 5 from changing the aiming mechanic from beta to launch. Pitiful.
 
Is it just me or is war zone not enjoyable. Maybe it was because all matches I played I lost. No one seemed to be working together and the whole requisition nonsense is not really good.

I think I will finish the story and sell the game while it still has value.

So I played this some more yesterday and it is complete disaster of a game. The campaign is so bad. Missions 9 and 11 were a joke. I am just doing a speed run so I can sell the game while it has some value.

MP is also completely dead in my region.
 
PLayed a couple of rounds this past weekend. Havent played a halo game online in a lil over 10 years. Big adjustment from the battlefield games im used to. Ill wait til more friends get online with it.
