It still is early access, seriously Steam fuck you for putting these up as "deals", now they dropped the price and show you "hey look we're 66% off what a deal" translation "Not as many people are buying this unfinished game, lets trick people by reducing the price"

Thinking about Fallout: New Vegas for $6.

Wasnt crazy about the last one but everybody seems to rave about this one. Is it worth it if I didn't dig the last one much with some different stuff or is it more of the same?

Picked up CS:GO and Bioshock Trilogy for ~$20. All I could justify spending.

I've bought Planetary Annihilation, Far Cry 3, GTA IV, and Nether. Can't wait to get my PC and play them :D

I'm pretty sure it's rigged, i bet someone or a group of someones found a way to hack the scores, so steam now just will rig it so each color will win twice.

This is probably the best deal on ArmA 3 that will come around in the near future, so I'd recommend picking that up if you have any interest in the title.

Is Arma 3 single player or both or is it Co-op watched some videos it looks like a open world game with a lot of open space...
The only thing I know about it is people recommend it in Battlefield 4 chat so it must be kinda decent.

anyone actually play planetary annihlation? i was a huge supcom fa fan so i'm hoping this is good even though i'm not holding my breath

It has a full single-player campaign, several co-op missions, as well as TONS of user-created missions and content. I pretty much exclusively play co-op with a group every Sunday, but a lot of people do PvP as well (check out Shack Tactical's videos). It's "open world" in that the environments are huge, streaming landscapes, but you generally play with a certain mission/goal to achieve. Though there are some user-made "dynamic" missions where you just keep getting more objectives as you complete them. Domination in ArmA 2 is a good example of this.

I Kickstarted it and I think it's a great Total Annihilation spiritual successor so far. It feels more like TA than SupCom does, I think, with the addition of the planetary stuff. I haven't had too much chance to play it but from what I have seen it's pretty awesome.

Why would you buy GTA IV when it uses GFWL? There is a rumor that the service will be shut down next month making your game unplayable.

Think Steam will give him the shaft by buying a game they just sold that no longer works?

Is it bad that I picked up Arma 3 just for the mods?

No, frankly the mods are some of the best things about the game, lol. ArmA has always been about the platform, and then the modding community makes it awesome.

I doubt that will happen.

The only reason GFWL sucks so much is because it takes forever to log in and requires about 10 updates after you install the game.

Well, and the God-awful save system.

People have said that their saves have corrupted or disappeared with GFWL; I never had that happen but I hate that you can't just copy your saves for use if you ever reinstall the game that used them.

According to an article I read this morning, Microsoft just issued a statement saying it isn't so. Of course, who knows what the longer-term future holds, but it does look like that July death-date isn't going to happen. GFWL still sucks, but it looks to continue sucking for a while yet.

I want to buy Risk of Rain and Payday while they're cheap. Anybody up for a 4-pack of either? If I don't hear anything by later tonight I'll probably jump on them.

Not really. The bots in Payday don't really do a whole lot, especially in Payday 2.

Is it worth it to buy the saints row IV franchise pack? its like an extra $8

"You do not own the games on steam that you buy, you only license to play them from steam. If you are looking for a service to get DRM free data, this isn't for you."

Sums it up very well.

Apparently they also rate an F at BBB due to zero customer support.

Steam sounds like a con, you pay to play but not own. Might as well hit the arcade with a handful of quarters.

Being that one game has been taken off Steam in the last 11 years, I wouldn't really call it a con.

The Behemoth Can't Stop Laughing Bundle @ $2.49 was a steal. Glad I didn't pick up BattleBlock Theater yesterday :)

How is that any different from any other software? Oh right...it isn't. That's the way software EULA's have been written for a long time now. You don't own the software, you own the "license" to use the software. The developer owns the code. By purchasing the game, you are entitled to a copy of their software, and have bought the rights to play it.

If you go through a EULA from any software company...be they Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Google, Valve, EA, UbiSoft, etc., you will see the same wording and it won't matter if you have a physical disc or if the game is on a console.

I got that too, not sure why. I think I got caught up with people complaining about paying more for just BattleBlock Theater, so I had to get in on the deal. Actually I bought two because I am going to gift one to a friend because they're co-op games. I'm a sucker.

Meh, more bullshit Early Access bit (Wasteland 2) and this was already on the daily deals it's just now on the flash deals for the exact same price, guess not that many people wanted to spend $40 for a game that's not complete.
