Hello,
Let's get to the point. I just purchased a SE3016 and I am trying to get Windows 7 (64 bit) to register my new 4TB drives. It sees them as 2047GB. All drives (an assortment of different sizes and types) are running from the SE3016 through the M1015 (it is in IT mode) to the PC.
When booting the computer, the M1015 seems to list all my 4TBs as 2047GB. I say ALL, because I have an older Seagate 4TB that seems to register with Windows 7 fine but not the controller. Nothing special was done to have this one working. I have tried formatting, adding as GPT, converting to Dynamic, etc. Everything I do doesn't seem to work.
From what I read, the M1015 should be able to use 4TB. Anyone out there with experience or some tips to try? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
