Even then, the SP campaign is a mess, and the whole game is a slap in the face to an otherwise good franchise.

Just do a simple google search, its a mess and the community knows it.
 
I have the game, I know how it is. It's not great but it's not worth less than $2, either. If you have any interest at all it is worth picking it up at this price, IMO.

Trust me, I actually pre-ordered it and was super pissed at how it turned out. But to say it's not even worth $2 is a little extreme, given what the game is.

Whelp, we're both entitled to our opinions, and in my opinion Gearbox shouldn't get a dime for this game.

No, I've proven the point that I don't think this game is worth anything. I'm sure other people do agree with me. Whether you do or don't frankly isn't any of my concern. This game is bad, people deserve to know what they're putting their money out for. 50 bucks for crap and 2 bucks for crap is the same in my opinion. You're still paying for crap.

This game is the bomb, I pre-orderd the special edition and I would do it again!! At $2 it is a supper steal. I may have to pick up 60 copies just to support the developer :D
 
Hell, for $1.99, why not?

Dumb question though... will I get a Steam key to use with this? I'd rather not use Impulse or any other downloaders/tools/crapware.
 
A shame. Why couldn't they have just done a mod on Left 4 Dead? 4 marines, point a to point b, done.

It can't be THAT bad. I read horrible things about RAGE and actually liked it so....

Besides, even if it is... it's only 2.00
 
I might try it some time down the line maybe but right now i got waaaaay to many games in my back log that i really shouldnt add to lol
 
Seriously, for anyone who played it... it's not even worth this much? I know it is dirt cheap but still don't like to buy something that is unplayable.

It's not unplayable, as in the game mechanics work... most of the time. I think I've said my peace though.

It's not unplayable. It just didn't live up to the massive expectations, coupled with a bunch of early gameplay trailers that looked completely different from what was delivered.

Again, for 2 dollars if you have ANY interest in this, it is really hard to say it's not worth a measly fucking 2 dollars. There are very few games that are not worth 2 dollars and this is not one of them.
 
If I was going to spend $1.99 on Aliens I'd add $8 to it and buy AVP2 instead of this crap.
