The Triple Monitor LightBoost Club

Everyone on HardForum who owns a 3-monitor LightBoost setup.
This will help show nVidia/manufacturers that sales are being created due to LightBoost.
  • Vega -- Over >$5000 for LightBoost (3 monitors + 4 titans) -- thread
    -
  • l88tbastard -- Over >$2000 for LightBoost (3 monitor + 1 titan) -- thread
    -
  • jwl24 -- (has a triple setup; need info)
    -
  • Tol -- (has a triple setup; need info)
    -
  • Add yours here.
(There are at least two dozen setups for triple-LightBoost setups in various forums).
It's important for all of us to keep track in one thread.
Manufacturers that see big money spent, will more likely innovate in the correct direction (eventually).
Such as future IPS LightBoost, 1440p LightBoost, easier use, better quality, etc.

3x VG248QE and SLI Titans/3930k here (+ the VT60 in the auxiliary slot).

I see some ppl seem to have had problems with the latest whql? Maybe this works for the beta as well, who knows.
What i did was just:
1. reset all screens.
2. enable surround at 144hz
3. run the utility to add 120hz lightboost on the "virtual" surround monitor (kept 144hz 2d as well)
4. reboot and run strobelight, initialize etc.
4. set resolution in windows (not nvidia panel, invisible there) to 120hz

Works and is rock solid for me, windows 8 pro. I don't have any nvidia 3dvision kit connected, nor faked.
If anything, it's easier than ever in the latest whql. No clue about the latest beta.

I'm so close to dropping from 1440p just for 2D Lightboost, and the LB monitors are the top choice I recommend to friends who are gamers. The moment a 1440p+ 2D Lighboost or similar tech monitor is released I'm on it. Instapurchase if it's less than $1500. I wouldn't hesitate to spend $2500 if had great colours and viewing angles along with CRT like motion...easy. There are many more like me.

3x vg248qe and 3x 780 gtx SLI

Definitely kind of frustrating of late with the nvidia drivers that break lightboost the last few months.

There are a bunch of people out there that don't really post much. I have done many 3-way Lightboost setups for people.

I would love if they made glossy panel lightboost monitors. The samsungs I have strobe in a similar fashion, but it's the AMD proprietary 3d that bothered me at first...granted I've gotten away from the 3d anyway. That and mine aren't VESA mount supported.
